The transport chamber fell into stunned silence, broken only by the labored breathing of the wounded and the distant wail of approaching alarms. Saguna knelt beside his sister, her blood-stained hands trembling as she stared at the destruction she'd caused.
"I can't," Sahara whispered, her voice barely audible. "I can't control it. You saw what happened. I nearly killed you. I nearly killed everyone."
Around them, the survivors began to assess the damage. Osa stirred weakly against the wall where Sahara had thrown him, his healing abilities flickering back to life despite his obvious concussion. He immediately crawled toward Professor Harish, whose breathing was dangerously shallow.
"Internal bleeding," Osa gasped, his hands glowing with water energy as he worked to stabilize the professor. "Multiple broken ribs, possible punctured lung. I can keep him alive, but he needs real medical attention."
