Steve blinked. Once. Twice. He leaned closer.
"Wait...willpower determines control?"
Steve stared at his hand, eyes flickering with a mix of disbelief and anticipation.
"How the hell is this just a partial ability of the Son of Hades? Just how strong was he... or rather, how strong am I?"
Even with the Puppeteer's strength supposedly within him, he didn't feel any different.
No rush of power. No surge of divine energy. Just… him. Same body, same heartbeat.
Still, something had changed. He could sense it. Like a puppet string waiting to be pulled.
But still, there was a lingering thought which remained in his mind.
