His journey was to peak was proving to fruitless because such pressure may have been increasing slowly but his measures to cope with it was failing one by one.
Pet's skill of hardening have improved as his skin gained a metallic touch on it showing just how much it have improved over time under that pressure.
*THUD*
Aryan fell on his knees as his body and mind gave up will to survive under that enormous pressure, it's like being under hydraulic press and someone have increased the pressure crush him under it.
[ Ding! Dead… ]
Aryan remained in that place to recover for some few little seconds before trying to respawn into new place again.
This time, he have appeared in some room made of stone. Room was very large, estimating to be around 10x high than his one height.
Pet was still surviving under that pressure, Hound of such bloodline was one of most stubborn pets which wouldn't even back down in front of dragon if they both are at same tier of power.
Walking in that room, he entered stairs that were going deep underground, he walked into that dark stairs where only help for seeing was him diverting his energy to eyes to enhance vision. Energy usage wasn't good so enhancement wasn't that much to begin with but it is still better than nothing.
These stairs stretched across a long way because he had already been walking for 30 minutes as per his estimation. A slight change of temperature was indication that either he is going to some volcano like thing or some high energy level place.
30 minutes more and in front of him was a circular storm in dug place. This storm seemed to be contained by something as none of it's effect extended outside that dug pit.
A small orb was forming in the centre of that storm, this rob was mesmerizing because Aryan got lost in it. His mind took him in a place where only he and thunder falling around him remained. This mystical scene was terrifying yet inspirational because it held understanding of thunder aspect.
His mind was overwhelmed but just then his awakened element crystal appeared in that space which started to shield him from such overwhelming force but crystal was cultivated yet so its strength was also limited and no competition to relentless fury of those thunderous crackling.
[ Ding! Host's thunder concept have made a significant advancement. ]
[ Ding! Element crystal will absorb new understanding to make improvement. ]
[ Ding! Insufficient energy for improvement. ]
This was akin to running a high class software on low end hardware, because his energy wasn't enough to aid into his progress
In the actual underground room, that orb slowly flew and entered the consciousness of Aryan and got into a dormant state which caused state of Aryan to break and he returned to his consciousness.
He looked at the storm which didn't had any pearl now and only remained opened.
[ Ding! Training pet have died. ]
Pet respawned next to him with his one click on screen, his mind have now accepted that respawn can be used in any kind of death until they remain in the practice site.
"Jump in storm." Aryan gave command to the hound through the power granted by system.
This command was resisted by hound because he can sense a enormous force in that storm and it was sure that death will be result of attempting such thing.
Unknown to both of them, suction force of the storm which wasn't materialistic but on a deep law level was absorbing their life force bit by bit. Bit here was 1 Year which was absorbed over 10 minutes.
But power of system was mighty so resistance eventually failed as hound was forced to jump in that storm. His jump dragged him much deeper than where Aryan could see despite enhancement.
Storm was throwing the hound from one part to another, this impact of being thrown around caused his deep injuries while thunder in storm entered in body and spread.
His body could naturally wasn't able to withstand it for more than few seconds as is got overwhelmed slowly turning to ash only to be mixed in that storm.
Aryan repeated this process for numerous times before trying to go and venturing into other room to explore this place and discover something more useful.
He passed through many rooms but he found nothing until he reached a room which wasn't gloomy as others but held some sort of calming aura to it.
He walked inside it, there were books floating in air. All of them looked full of secrets and powers that he couldn't begin to understand yet.
His heart was being allured to these books it was as if his control over himself was loosing only to be consumed in mysterious nature of all this.
Energy density in this room was more than 10 times his body have ever experienced, so his body was consuming energy without even trying.
Aryan's changes was nothing compared to what hound was going through, because his bloodline was mutating to reach a stronger level, mutation was always a double edged sword which can either further the limits of bloodline or turn the pet into something that is not even able to utilize arcane energy. Both extremes are possible here.
[ Ding! Host's soul sea have been drained, Practice projection have to end in 1 hour before host recover soul sea to begin practice. ]
Seeing this notification brought Aryan back, his eyes turned shape as he tried to make sense of letters written on those books.
Timer on the screen was ticking away without him making any sort of progress.
This urgency of time was pushing him to relinquish his choice from knowledge based selection to a gamble played depending on luck, which was nemesis to all nerds like him because they don't believe in luck.
"Damn this." Throwing away any conscious behaviour, he made a choice randomly to select two books.
Both books flew to him as if they have dented his will. He didn't know that why were books flying him, it added more to one more mystery related to this practice site.
He wasn't wasting any more time, so he put those books in boxes in panels. Both have question marks on them as well.
Hound which was in middle of transformation was also next to him but gleaming from rate of transformation happening and remaining time before returning to store was seeming very hard.
