"Lu Zi Zhen, check up on all existing laboratories, abandoned laboratories, hospitals, and research areas. Get their building structures, we will definitely know if there's an underground building." She went on to get details of all the current existing laboratories, hospitals, and military search units. These were the easiest places to set up a hidden laboratory, and they could easily get the supplies they needed.
In a few minutes, they already had the entire information they needed, with the three of them and their skills, it was easier to get the building structures.
"Mama, narrowing them down, here are the three suspicious places, this hospital in the city center, this laboratory at Millan University, and this military research area." Lu Zi Zhen was faster and already narrowed it down.
Lu Wan Ruyi's eyes scanned the blueprints rapidly, her fingers flicking between layers of building schematics. She zoomed in on the first one, it was the hospital in the city center.
"This one's too exposed," she muttered checking every little detail. "Too many patients in this hospital, too many public entry points, emergency power redundancies. If they were hiding something underground, the energy surge would be noticeable. And… look here." She pointed to a note on the schematic. "They did a full underground reconstruction after the earthquake last year. Everything underneath is brand new and still under public oversight."
She dismissed it with a swift wave. "Cross this one out. They can't be there, and if they dare to be there then the government is 100% involved since the hospital belongs to the government. Something like this can't be going on and the government doesn't know anything."
Next, she turned to Millan University's laboratory. Her expression tightened checking the place out.
"This one is more likely and can easily be used as a research area and conducting other experiments in the shadows. The lab was shut down five years ago due to funding cuts and supposed 'biohazard concerns'… but the blueprints don't match the closure report. They sealed three levels, but here..." she clicked open a zoning regulation chart, "this permit shows the excavation went five levels deep. Two are unaccounted for in the closure files as you can see it."
Lu Zi Zhen pointed at the third file. The military research site. It had limited data, but what they could see showed an aging structure no longer in official use, buried within a restricted zone bordering the hills.
"This one," he said. "It matches the terrain. Look at the outer perimeter and the camouflaged entrances, only two marked access roads, one of which is half-eroded. No reported activities in over ten years, and yet, they get this." He pulled up a satellite scan from the week prior. "There was a convoy that entered the zone five days ago. Four black armored trucks. No departure has been recorded."
"Either there are some connections between the main place and the exchange place, look, this exchange place is in the middle while the military base is a few kilometers away to the south, while Millan University is a few kilometers to the north, two different locations. There had to be some connections in between."
"Are there any suspicious people apart from him?" With three locations, how did they transfer Lu Ting Zhou and Song Yaya so soon to any of these places?
"Yes, military men. I don't know their exact profile, but we thought the military could be another different team after the two of you." Lu Zhi Hao had seen the video and with the way Lu Zi Zhen explained, each team had sent unique mercenaries to handle the task. If there were two or more groups, did that mean many people knew what Lu Wan Ruyi had done then or were they connected to Lu Zi Zhen?
