Chapter 363 - CHAPTER 363: Xiao Liu and the Next Step

After drinking and waiting for a while, the cultivation process finally ended.

  [Unnamed!]

[Abilities: Ice (Can condense ice by consuming physical energy), Wind (Can control strong winds), Water (Can manipulate water flow), Levitation (Can float and cause objects to float at will), Explosion (Can explosively boost strength and speed by burning vitality or energy), Demon (Contains a unique gene that allows demonization and control of demonic powers), Divine Power (Possesses immense strength), Tenacity (Extremely strong defense), Resurgence (Can implant roots deep into the ground to draw on the earth's power for rapid recovery), Demonization (Has both demonized and snake forms), Weakness: Fear of sea water]

[Strength: Admiral-level (Peak Combat Power of Navy Headquarters Admiral)]

  [Untapped Potential!]

Looking at the attribute panel in front of him, Mio's eyes gleamed with satisfaction, and the corners of his mouth rose in a pleased smile.

"Perfect. Another at Admiral-level," Mio murmured, "But the next one… if things go as expected, might not reach Admiral strength. Vice Admiral might be the highest."

His genetic inventory was nearly exhausted. Only one significant gene remained—the Pepper Gene, a powerful auxiliary-type.

Luckily, he could still rely on the lottery.

With a thought, Mio summoned the newly cultivated creature.

Compared to Xiao Qi, it was slightly larger, but far more elegant. The creature resembled a sleek serpent, graceful and slender like a Pokémon's Mienshao, with a mystical and charming aura, slithering gracefully through the air.

  "Meow~"

The little creature had mesmerizing, multicolored eyes and gazed curiously at Mio, full of innocent affection.

Much like Xiao Qi, the little one coiled affectionately around Mio's neck, rubbing its face against his cheek.

Sensing the new arrival, Xiao Qi emerged from Mio's clothes, also wrapping around his neck and flicking out its tongue with a "hiss," curiously examining the newcomer.

The elegant serpent replied with a soft "meow," as if the two were exchanging greetings.

Mio stroked Xiao Qi's head and said softly, "This one will also be our companion from now on. Its name will be Xiao Liu."

He already had plans for the next Stomak Baron he would cultivate—Xiao Wu, completing the set of Xiao Wu, Xiao Liu, and Xiao Qi: five, six, and seven.

"Meow." Xiao Liu purred, nuzzling against Mio's neck.

"Alright, go play with Xiao Qi," Mio said with a smile, gently patting Xiao Liu's head. As for extracting their abilities, he wasn't in a hurry—he preferred to wait until Xiao Wu was cultivated and then extract them all together.

But for now—it was time to draw from the lottery.

His gene collection was running low, but he still had a few remaining lottery chances.

Before that, however, he took a moment to introduce Xiao Liu to the others.

The serpent's adorable appearance and charming behavior instantly won over Robin and the other women.

Even Hancock found herself deep in thought. Another island had vanished—and Xiao Liu had appeared. Earlier, an island disappeared, and Xiao Qi was born. The correlation wasn't lost on her.

"Is this Lord Black Crow's ability?" she wondered, confused but increasingly curious. What was the purpose of such a power?

She wouldn't understand now—but in the future, once Xiao Liu and others displayed their overwhelming strength in battle, Hancock would be truly astonished.

But that was a story for later.

  For now—

Mio sat calmly at the bow of the ship.

With a thought, the lottery interface appeared before him.

He still had three lottery attempts—few, but enough.

He converted the draws and immediately pressed the button.

The roulette wheel began spinning at high speed.

Mio watched it intently, sipping his wine as the result appeared.

[Congratulations! You've obtained the "Nami" Gene!]

"Huh?" Mio blinked, momentarily confused, and hurriedly checked the details. Upon reading the description, he sighed in relief.

"Whew… not the Nami I was thinking of."

He had worried it might be the Nami from the world of One Piece—who, while talented, relied heavily on technology and external weapons.

That version of Nami wouldn't be very useful genetically.

Fortunately, the Nami drawn was from Valoran, the mermaid from League of Legends—a natural wielder of water magic, capable of manipulating the sea and healing allies.

Not powerful offensively, but a strong support option.

Most importantly, she would pair well with the Jiaotu Gene, which allowed for linking injuries and sharing healing effects—making a superb support unit possible.

With renewed interest, Mio hit the lottery button again.

  The second draw began.

The roulette spun—fast, then slow again—and came to a stop.

[Congratulations! You have obtained the "Giant Sea King" Gene!]

"Huh?" Mio was once again taken aback.

  "Sea King gene…"

He had no interest in ordinary sea king genes, but the giant variant—now that was valuable.

More importantly, he immediately envisioned how to use it.

"With Jiaotu, Nami, and now the Giant Sea King genes, the resulting creature should be a sea-based being—an unparalleled support unit in aquatic environments. It could even form life links with others underwater, making it invincible in that domain."

Mio's expression shifted to one of satisfaction.

With no hesitation, he pressed the lottery button one last time.

  The third draw began.

  The roulette spun once again…
