It must have been 5 months now since Hikari was reincarnated in the world of High School DxD also as Draconic Deus, which means from Latin in English: Dragon God or Divine Dragon in relation to Great Red - the Dragons of Dreams also known as the Dragon God of the Apocalypse.
His mother is the head nurse at Kuoh Hospital while his father is a general in the Japanese army as he is one of the highest ranking officers in the country's history. And this is where things get tough for Azeroth, formerly named Hikari, because without realizing it, he has attracted the attention of one of the two most powerful Dragon Gods of the Supernatural, that even the pantheons are afraid of them.
While his father was at work, he took the opportunity to chat with his system, which God gave him after granting his wishes.
*Sigh* [I'm so bored? You're gonna tell me, I'm just a baby, so what do you want me to do? Normally, Biblical God gave me a system similar to Solo Leveling universe, but with my own skills, so let's see if that's really the case!]
Azeroth then concentrated with all his might, and suddenly, a digital board that only he could see appeared in front of him.
He jumped in surprise, a little bit. [Damn, I did it.] He examined his stats, skills, etc. more closely... But obviously, he couldn't be surprised by what he saw, seeing as he just reborn into a world unknown to his own, especially the supernatural one that hid from the public.
How does he know about the supernatural? Very simple. He knows everything there is to know about the supernatural thanks to the system he received from Biblical God — from the Great Faction War to the present day, including the Devil Civil War where the new Great Satans were elected.
He also learned that the Shinto Pantheon made a contract with the Gremory and Sitri families to lease Kuoh as their territory.
[To think that Kuoh Town has become the territory of two heirs of the 72 Pillars. Tell me, system, what are my chances that a high-ranking being was able to sense my presence in this world since the day of my reincarnation.] He asks the system if he had any chance of surviving in this universe.
[Answer: Host. Since you've only been reincarnated into this world for about 5 months, there's a good chance a high-ranking entity has sensed your aura.] The system answered him.
[I'm in a real pickle. But hey, I don't think they'd harm a baby.... I hope?] He crossed his fingers (if he could).
He looked out the window and saw that it was still dark then turned to the clock on the wall which read 3:45 a.m.
Gently, he closed his eyes and fell asleep, unaware that someone was watching him. On the roof of the house across the road was the Dragon God of Infinity — Ophis.
Ophis lived in the Dimensional Gasp, until the Dragon of Dreams Great Red arrives and kicked her out. She started to found an organization called Khaos Brigade which aims to get rid of Great Red so that she can regain her silence but from the moment she felt a disturbance in space-time, she immediately set off to find where this anomaly came from to arrive right in front of the Ragnvaldr household to be surprised that this came from a 2 month old infant.
"To think that the disturbance I felt came from this baby." She looked at the baby with great interest, but whatever the reason, something told her to protect this child. "I will return in three months and give him my divine protection." So she disappeared without a trace.
And so we arrive at the moment where she stands there with tired eyes. Then she suddenly had an idea. She delicately teleported into Azeroth's room and discreetly extended her hand to the peacefully sleeping child, whispering like a lullaby.
"My child, I give you my blessing and a little of my blood to strengthen you for the battles you will one day fight to protect this world that is now yours." She whispered in his ear, then gets a small cut on his thumb, to let a drop drip onto the baby's lips. The baby swallowed it without realizing it, and the inside of his body began to slowly strengthen, avoiding waking him up and torturing him.
After finishing what she had done, she teleported to the roof of the house across the street, then turned her head toward the baby's room, then vanished without a trace until her next reappearance. The next day, the sun rose, allowing it to enter Azeroth's room. The sun's rays dazzled, forcing him to bury his head in his pillow, and the birds chirped.
[I hate the sun.] He sat up in his crib but realized something was wrong. He felt stronger than before. [System, what happened last night? I didn't feel this strong last night, did I?]
[Answer: Host. Yesterday, we had a surprise visit from the Dragon God of Infinity herself.] This took me by surprise.
[Ophis herself?] The system nods and how an entity like her suddenly became interested in me.
[Answer: She sensed an anomaly and came to investigate to find out where it came from, and she saw that it came from you, so that's why she became so attached to you that she gave a drop of her blood and her blessing to strengthen you for the upcoming battles you will have to fight in the future.] She explains to me, and now I know perfectly, why I gained so much weight. I swear, this bullshit is gonna be a real pain in the ass for me.
[So what now?] He told to the system.
[Answer: Now, you've got some of her blood and her blessing. You could obtain [Dimensional Gate] as well [Dragon's Fear] but are currently locked, Host. After all, now, you're the Infinity Dragon God's Chosen One.] Azeroth understood what the system meant by this.
