Cail looked away from the tempting shops that artifact dealers. Hal was already calling him because the auction was about to start.
The group arrived at a pavilion. Cail looked up. It was tall. The reason why he didn't specify how high is because he couldn't see the end of it. It disappeared into the sky.
This time, the pavilion was really gold. The walls, decorations, and even the banners that surrounded the area were gold. Cail almost got blinded. He was about to push his glasses when he realized that he was wearing contacts.
He is not used to this yet. But for some reason, contacts felt a bit odd in his eyes. It's no the contacts, but more like his eyes rejecting something touching it.
Back to the pavilion, it didn't look gaudy or cheap. It radiated a domineering arrogance, as if stating it deserved to stand out regardless of what people think.
