ShareIf no one appreciated his performance, wouldn't that make him a fool?
"Originally, I just wanted to capture this beast," Robert mused. "I didn't expect an unexpected surprise."
"A rising star of the Mutant Academy. The most talented mutant I've ever seen," Stryker sneered. "If you had stayed in the Mutant Academy, I wouldn't have a way to deal with you. I didn't expect you to come out and seek death yourself. Then I won't be polite."
Stryker appeared manic and excited, his mind consumed by unknown evil thoughts. Observing him, Robert couldn't help but feel a tinge of anticipation. What kind of capital did this Stryker guy possess? Just a Colonel from the United States—why did he dare to act so arrogantly in front of him?
According to the original story, this guy's greatest asset was a Deadpool fused with various abilities. It wasn't even certain if such a being had been created in this world. What was he being arrogant about?
Robert didn't understand why Stryker could be so confident. But that didn't prevent him from taking action. He could see through Joker's thinking that Stryker was very confident and definitely had some trump card. That kind of demeanor and performance didn't seem fake.
However, Stryker's vision was too limited. To put it bluntly, he was just a Colonel from the United States! Even General Ross, who researched the Hulk, was inferior. No matter how strong his trump card was, Robert wouldn't take it to heart. He couldn't reach that level of things!
Too lazy to talk to this guy, Robert's eyes lit up, and a red glow began to permeate his gaze. This was none other than Superman's Thermal Ray! Its power was formidable—at least enough to evaporate Stryker from this world!
The red light flashed, shooting toward Stryker! The smug expression on Stryker's face hadn't faded when he felt a pain in his arm and a blur before his eyes. When he came back to his senses, he found himself dozens of meters away, his left arm already gone. The burning pain like flames continued to torment him.
Robert's powerful Thermal Ray had instantly evaporated one of his arms! The human body was obviously insignificant in the face of extreme high temperatures!
"Ah!!!" Stryker let out a shrill scream. "You! You dare...!"
"Kill him for me!!" Stryker roared.
Following his command, five or six black figures, four to five meters tall, appeared in Robert's vision. These entities resembled black robots, but their surfaces were covered with a layer of skin. Similar to Tony Stark's unmanned armor robots, but with a completely different style.
It was this thing that had saved Stryker just now. Otherwise, what Robert had evaporated would have been Stryker himself, not just his arm.
With Stryker's order, the red light in the center of the robot's forehead lit up. They stared at Robert like humans but did not attack.
"Shit! What the hell is this thing!" Logan shuddered upon seeing these robots. He hated these inexplicable human creations the most.
Robert glanced at him, feeling a little amused. Even Wolverine, who feared neither heaven nor earth, had times when he was afraid!
"Teacher, this thing is not simple," Ryan observed. "This is a weapon specially made to deal with mutants. Sentinel robot!"
That's right. What appeared in front of them was none other than the mutants' greatest enemy—the famous Sentinel robot. This powerful special operations robot, created by Trask Industries, had even wiped out the mutant race directly on a certain timeline. Only a few Omega-level beings were still alive. Its power could be imagined.
Even in a certain parallel universe, there were leader-level Sentinel robots like Nimrod and Bastion who could chase and kill into the main universe, instantly killing top mutants like Apocalypse, often reaching Skyfather-level combat power. Sentinel robots were terrifying!
However, the Sentinel robots appearing in front of Robert were naturally not the kind that had been researched to the extreme. They were the first-generation Sentinel robots. Not to mention Robert, even Magneto in his youth had dealt with a batch, controlling a large number of Sentinels by injecting metal into them.
As for combat power, it wasn't particularly impressive. To deal with Robert, they would need to deploy the second-generation mature Sentinel robots.
In fact, the Sentinels that everyone was familiar with were generally second-generation Sentinels. By studying the abilities of the Demonheart Woman, they had gained the ability to transform, perfectly simulating the abilities of mutants.
One or two were manageable, but these were robots that could be mass-produced! The military factory could produce more robots in an hour than the entire mutant race. How could the mutants win?
This was also the terrible thing about modern civilization. The productivity was astonishing. After researching the weapon thoroughly, it could be mass-produced. The war potential was simply incomparable to ancient civilizations.
Fortunately, these were just some first-generation Sentinel robots.
"Stryker, is this your trump card?" Robert smiled. Not to mention him, even Wolverine could tear a few of these things apart with his bare hands.
Seeing Robert's smile, Stryker, who already had a deep hatred for mutants, gritted his teeth even more. "Laugh! I'll let you laugh! Die for me!! All troops attack!!"
Stryker roared. The previously quiet dam suddenly opened above, and hundreds of Sentinel robots flew out from it. A bit like the villains who mass-produce combat robots to oppose Tony Stark. Hundreds of Sentinels surrounded Robert and the two of them.
Faced with this situation, Logan, who had experienced hundreds of battles, was a little nervous.
