Chris returned with more than 15 bags of ice. It wasn't hard getting them, but now, he hoped this would work on his mother.
"It's here." He stepped inside the lounge and Ariana could feel her heart leap from her chest at the sight of him and his bags of ice.
She had tried reaching Penny over and over again, but there was still no response. Ariana felt like the world was coming to an end. She was going crazy.
She couldn't be exposed.
She could not tell her mother that she had failed so much in school that she had to sort her way out. In most cases, when Penny couldn't help her, she had sorted her way out.
People said it was impossible for medical students to sort, but her case has been different.
"What do we do now?" Chris asked, believing his wife was a doctor. Times like this are when he gets happy he has picked Ariana instead of Penny.
