The next day, Kaiser came to class as usual, neither early nor late. Since he had just returned, his arrival earned a few curious glances which ultimately left him once he sat down. Nobody tried to approach him. After all, he was a well known recluse.

"Morning, Kaiser. How was your night?"
Isabella's clear and innocent voice snapped him out of his thoughts as she appeared by his side.
Instead of answering with a note, he only replied with a thumbs up, indicating a positive reply.
As expected, the whole class showed slight curiosity towards the conversation. Especially boys like Jose and Joshua who admired Isabella.
Kaiser could feel their gazes of envy prickling his skin, but he acted oblivious, unbothered.
"That's a relief. Alrighty~ see you later."
The little class angel waved at him with a cute smile before returning to her group of friends.
