The night before the Welcome Ceremony.
I was lost in my thoughts of the things I have studied from the library these past few days since I arrived here in the academy. I have been looking closely to Force in hopes of broadening my horizon about the power.
But despite all those, what stood out to me the most was Runes.
It is dangerous for my level to build a Rune Tree of my own. One wrong move could cause my Force Core to be broken. As much as I want to get stronger so I could protect my loved ones from the impending threat, known as Black Hole, being greedy won't help me to improve at all.
I really want to build a Rune Tree of my own. But patience is the key to achieving something we cannot achieve yet.
Why is it that Runes are so complicated in the first place? Force was easy to accomplish, but Runes are different. Runes empower our Force Core, making us stronger elements in the field.
Without Runes, we are stuck at our current state.
But I know overthinking about it won't do any good to me. I'll just wait patiently until I learn how to make a Rune Tree of my own without needing anyone's help.
Soon, fatigue overshadowed me.
Tomorrow is the big day. The Welcome Ceremony for first-year students. And I can't wait.
My eyes became heavy, and I dozed off while my excitement was still burning within my heart. The thoughts of Runes were buried by my joy of tomorrow's event.
