Chapter 3 - Chapter 2

Outside the Dome, Sora Period, the pilot of the Blue Deathster "Skyrender" Avantgarda, stood victorious. The unknown Cyber Golem had been eliminated in a single strike.

The battlefield fell silent.

Jagt stared in disbelief.

"With one… clean strike… that machine was able to eliminate it?"

Igor clenched his fists.

"The speed is even greater than the ones we are using..."

Inside the cockpit of the Skyrender Avantgarda, Sora Period observed the wreckage of the Cyber Golem.

"Target eliminated. Heading back to base."

The Blue Deathster Avantgarda soared into the sky, disappearing from the scene.

At Blitz Industries, inside the control room, a large screen displayed the battle footage. The President of Blitz Industries, Trolle, watched intently as Avantgarda flew away. Her eyes gleamed with both admiration and frustration.

"So magnificent... The performance speed is by far superior to the Gigamobiles… If only we hadn't lost the blueprint designs a few years ago…"

Welstra, standing nearby, slammed his hand on his chair in frustration.

"What happened a few years ago was an embarrassment to Blitz Industries! Not only did we lose the only copy of the blueprints, we lost the person who designed them as well! We will make sure something like this never happens again."

His gaze hardened.

"But what matters most is that the dome wasn't destroyed, and the threat has been eliminated."

Strazer, arms crossed, glanced at him.

"Mr. President…"

At the Blue Deathster's secret military base, the Skyrender Avantgarda touched down.

Sora Period exited the cockpit, using a sliding rope to descend from the mech. As his feet hit the ground, a voice called out to him.

Clapping his hands, a man with red hair and dark red eyes approached. His blue uniform bore the Blue Deathster emblem on the left side.

"What a show you put up there! You were there in less than five minutes! You hit the record, my man!"

Sora looked at him.

"Hanada…"

Hanada grinned.

"Well, it's definitely not as good as mine last week, but hey, still a great show."

A stern voice interrupted them.

"This isn't a competition, Lieutenant Halfway."

Hanada quickly straightened up and saluted.

"Commander Lorkin!"

Lorkin, the Blue Deathster's commander, walked towards Sora.

"Good job out there, Sora. We'll be having a briefing tonight. Be there."

Sora saluted.

"Yes, Commander."

Lorkin nodded and left.

As Sora and Hanada walked through the headquarters, Hanada spoke up.

"So, what are your plans this weekend?"

"Not much. How about you?"

Hanada shrugged.

"I'm not sure. Maybe I'll spend some time in the city."

Sora smirked.

"You really like going there, don't you?"

"Of course! Plus, I can buy high-quality food there. Unlike what they serve here—ugh, I wouldn't call that food." He stuck his tongue out in disgust.

From a distance, a cheerful voice called out.

"Heyoo!"

Hanada and Sora turned to see their comrade, a girl with pink hair, wearing the Blue Deathster uniform.

Hanada smirked.

"Sabine, you're here early."

Sabine sighed.

"Asagi summoned me to tell me about the new updates he added to my Stelvane's computer. Not that I understood a single word she said. Typical Asagi."

She crossed her arms.

"So, where are you guys headed?"

"Just heading to our quarters. Oh, and Commander Lorkin said we're having a briefing in a few hours. Don't be late, Sabine!"

Sabine scoffed.

"When was I ever late?!"

Sora raised an eyebrow.

"Always?"

Sabine placed a hand on her hip.

"Oh wow, look who decided to talk."

Hanada laughed.

"Hey, hey now. This guy just finished a mission in under five minutes. Give him a break."

Sora simply closed his eyes and smiled.

Hanada noticed.

"Oh, oh, oh! There it is! He's happy!"

Sabine, ignoring Hanada's antics, turned serious.

"Anyway, despite the threat being eliminated, what was that thing? I've never seen a Cyber Golem like that before. Let alone trying to barge inside the dome."

Meanwhile, at Blitz Industries, Igor's Gigamobile was being carried away by a crane, heavily damaged.

Inside the room, Jagt ripped off his helmet and threw it against the wall.

"Goddammit!! Not a single one of our efforts even managed to scratch that damn thing!"

Igor exhaled.

"Calm down, Jagt. The Blue Deathster has already eliminated the Golem. They saved us in the process."

Jagt gritted his teeth.

"Blue Deathster… always getting in our way! They stole Blitz technology and didn't say a damn word about it! Next thing you know, they just fly around the city and people call them messiahs!"

Igor remained calm.

"The important thing is that the dome was saved and no one was hurt."

Jagt clenched his fists.

"It's not just that… It's about our purpose, Captain. We trained so hard to get our status, and now we're nothing more than embarrassments."

His voice darkened.

"Sooner or later, we will no longer be needed… and the Blue Deathster will be the cause of it."

Igor stayed silent, unable to argue.

The war between Blitz Industries and Blue Deathster was far from over.
