For a minute, Andrea felt like her brain became frozen because no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't think of a way to get out of this situation. She quickly put the pictures back into the envelope and turned to Gael.
Gael looked at the envelope in her hands and frowned. "What's that?"
"This...this is mine. I must have been so stressed out that I mistakenly gave them the wrong address." Andrea said with a forced laugh. "I should get going; I don't want to disturb your work."
Andrea didn't even wait for his reply before she hurriedly walked straight to the door. She let out a sigh of relief as she opened the door, only for a hand to suddenly reach forward and push it closed.
Her hope of leaving went down the drain when she felt Gael's intimidating presence behind her.
"It's either you think I was born yesterday or you think I'm really stupid to actually believe what you just said."
