(A/N: I'm glad to announce that with this chapter, my first ever web novel will officially cross the chapter 10 benchmark. I don't know how many of you are here for it, but enjoy! Let's celebrate, drink's are on me!)
Although Adam claimed he would slow down to my level, all I saw was a change from not even seeing the movement, to now seeing a blur, I think? Either way, I "fought" all night, until I was a black and blue blob.
Luckily for me, when I woke up, I was unharmed, however, my mind is forever scarred.
I quickly found a rhythm, where I got mercilessly mauled at night, and during the day work on clearing the {Garden of Opportunities} for use.
A week later, while doing some basic path markings, in the garden, the soil, walls and even the gloves I had on started to glow in a warm golden color.
Eventually, the glow got intense enough for me to have to close my eyes. Once I could open them again, the Garden seemed to have taken the shape exactly as I imagined it to be. Shocked, I almost tripped over a brick while stepping back, which then caused the path to move in real time as it smoothened itself out, while keeping the design.
"I - I just can't." I said, shaking my head. When I turned around to leave, I noticed that there were visible seedlings, even though i planted nothing yet. Even more, the seedlings were growing at a pace visible to the naked eye!
"Yea. No." I decided to leave to escape this trickery. "I'll let future me deal with it."
