The Athamana team revisited the forge at the bottom of the sea exactly a week after the night that became known as the city burning. Since they wanted to leave that same day north to the land of the undersea-walkersq, they thought it would be wise to go to the city blacksmith and the tailor of Míngrizimen as soon as possible.
"No one is here." Suk grimaced when the team reached the underwater forge.
"Good morning." Rahul spoke louder, and a grumpy man stepped out of the back of the forge, yawning and running his hands through his own hair.
"Who are you so early?" Came the question from the man.
"I am Koál Rahul from Míngrizimen, and these are my friends, we are looking for Marianne." The chüvigh boy said, and the man grimaced and turned back towards the back door.
"Annie darling, the Easterners are here!" The man shouted, which only made the Athamanas look at him in confusion.
"I'm coming!" The tailoress's voice almost screamed as she answered, and indeed, less than a minute later, the woman appeared in the door and gave the man a quick kiss on the lips. "Thank you, darling, go get ready for the day." She smiled at the man.
"You know where the armor is." The man waved, then stepped past the woman.
"Of course I know." The woman waved, then turned to the group. "What are you staring at like that for?" She put one hand on her hip.
"Who is the man, Marianne?" Rahul asked, but this only made the tailoress grimace.
"Matthias, my husband. Who would he be?" The woman smiled faintly, then walked to the shelves placed on one side of the forge. "Let's see the team's armor, where is it?" She started searching the shelves. "Got you!" She exclaimed enthusiastically as she picked up the armor and carried them to the table. "Okay, boys, there's that curtained area, you can get dressed there. We're having a fashion show!" The woman announced, a wide smile on her lips as she pointed towards the side of the forge closer to the stairs, where there was indeed a small curtained area.
"Which one will start?" A very young voice suddenly spoke, and when the Athamanas turned to it, they were surprised to find that the blacksmith of Floating Barracks, looked even younger than when they had first met him.
"Oh, do you want to see how they look on them?" Marianne was also surprised as she blinked at her husband.
"It's been a while since I've seen an undersea-walker outfit." Matthias smiled. "So who's going to start?" He asked and looked at the young hegins.
"I'll start if no one wants to!" Citar raised his hand, thanks to which Marianne immediately selected a suit of clothes.
"Here it is!" He handed the boy the clothes. "When you're ready, come out." As she said this, the Bolacsuk boy took the clothes and headed towards the curtain. "My dear, do we still have the mirror?" The woman asked, turning to her husband.
"Of course, it's there behind you, it's just covered up." The blacksmith shrugged and sat down on the table next to the armor, while Marianne took the cloth off the mirror.
"I'm ready!" Citar stepped out from behind the curtain.
"There's the mirror!" Marianne pointed to the object.
"Look at me, I look really good!" Citar remarked, as he looked himself over, he had on turquoise clothes lined with dark green. There was a glowing butterfly pattern sewn over his shirt. And had a green butterfly pin in his hair.
"I'm coming now!" Wandi announced.
"Oh, the pale-skinned one!" Marianne winked at the danovus as she handed him the armor. "Go inside." The danovus didn't need any more than that, he immediately rushed behind the curtain and came out a few minutes later.
"I like it!" Wandi smiled faintly as he looked at himself in the mirror. As Citar he had on turquoise colthes, but his accent color was pale pink. Unlike Citar his stomack was showing in a V shape. Also at the tip of the V shape there was a blue butterfly pin.
"Are you coming, Tev, or should I go?" Suk asked.
"I'm going!" Teveli smiled and took the clothes from Marianne to change into. His turquoise clothes were accented with dark blue and a butterfly pin in the same color in his hair.
"Not bad! It definitely suits me." Teveli grinned. "Your turn, Zovárd!" He raised his hand for a pat, which he immediately received.
"Of course, I'm coming." Suk chuckled and already took the dress from Marianne and ran behind the curtain. His clothes were the same color as everyone elses with yellow accents.
"Ah, I got my ribbon back!" Suk adjusted the piece of material tied around his forehead. Over which the yellow butterfly was pinned in his hair.
"Me, me, me! Now I'm coming!" Achilleus got excited.
"Careful, the armor won't fly off." Marianne laughed.
"Thank you." Achilleus grinned and hurried to change. His accent color was brown with a deep orange butterfly pin on his lapels.
"I like this coat!" The boy shrugged.
"I'm very happy about that." The tailoress chuckled, but she had already pressed his clothes into Benkó's hands, so the Bokló boy hurried to change without a word. His accent color and butterfly pin was light blue and that was what made his outfit the most coherent from all of the outfits of the Athamanas.
"Listen, I didn't think you'd like it so much, that we have so many clothes!" The boy laughed as he looked at himself in the mirror.
"Tábló Boss?" Rahul turned to Razvan, who just nodded and took his clothes from Marianne. His accent color was red, and he had on a really long coat, which gave him a regal aura. His red butterfly pin was at the top of his shirt near his throat.
"Very good job." Razvan commented as he stepped out from behind the curtain. "It looks like I put on a lot more clothes than for the competition and yet I don't feel the weight." He explains as he steps in front of the mirror.
"This is the special feature of the Mullen armor." Matthias, who was currently in the form of a quite young child, pulled himself out.
"Now your turn, Rahul! Look how it turned out!" Marianne was enthusiastic, pushing the last armor straight into Rahul's hands, which the boy put on. Rahul's clothes were accented by torquoise and red color and got his butterfly pin just over his ear.
"Look at that, the boss was right, the armor is really light!" Rahul grinned with satisfaction as he stood in front of the mirror. "You showed off for yourself, Marianne, this is one of your better sets." The boy put his hands on his hips.
"And you don't even know the best part yet." Matthias noted, a faint smile on his lips.
"Best part?" Rahul asked, turning to the blacksmith.
"Yes. My dear heart couldn't contain herself. This is the set of clothes for the northern undersea-walkers. I guess you all noticed the butterflies." He looked around the team.
"Yes." Suk said immediately.
"That's your passport to the north. A little gift from me. Let's call it my business card." Matthias shrugged.
"Thank you." Razvan bowed to the blacksmith who appeared in the form of a boy.
"This wasn't the best part yet." The blacksmith chuckled.
"The best part is yet to come. My dear?" Marianne turned to her husband, and Matthias closed his eyes and snapped his fingers, and it seemed as if the forge had suddenly become much warmer than before. "And three, two." The tailoress began to count down. "One!" As she said this, the Athamana's clothes changed one by one. All of them got two piece clothes, with sleve-less shirts and a see-through kind of cloak.
"What is this?" Rahul was shocked as he looked first at himself and then at the rest of the team.
"These are the traditional attire of the southern undersea-walkers, boys. With a little Mullen magic, of course. Let their faces burn with envy." Marianne giggled.
