"This..." Jinbe stood stunned. Cut off his fingers first to make amends, and then postpone cutting off his arm?
"Okay, it's decided!" Hikaru waved his hand, signaling him to leave.
"Sir Hikaru..."
Hikaru snorted coldly, his domineering Conqueror's Haki surging outward, ruthlessly washing over Jinbe's will. Despite the overwhelming pressure, Jinbe didn't faint. After all, he was one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea and had withstood Big Mom's "Soul Pocus" many times before.
"I'm not negotiating with you! Remember your position, Jinbe! Behind you stands all of Fishman Island!"
In the next moment, a circular door to another dimension appeared beneath Jinbe's feet, causing him to fall unexpectedly out of Hikaru's domain.
He landed steadily on the ground and sighed in frustration. Things had developed to this point, leaving him no choice but to obey Hikaru's command.
After a moment's silence, he raised the large blade in his hand and, with an expressionless face, brought it down upon the fingers of his left hand.
Whoosh!
The blade flashed, and five fingers were severed. Due to the force of the cut, they scattered in different directions.
"Jinbe-sama!"
The onlookers who had been watching from a distance screamed in shock at the sight of Jinbe chopping off his own fingers.
Blood began gushing from his left hand, now reduced to just a palm. The pain was severe—fingers were connected to countless nerves—causing Jinbe to furrow his brow, though he didn't utter a single sound.
Everyone gathered around, staring at his bloody left hand in bewilderment.
Aladdin, the ship's doctor and vice-captain of the Sun Pirates, quickly set aside the medical equipment he had prepared beforehand and began treating Jinbe's injuries.
"Don't panic, I was just testing whether the blade was sharp enough," Jinbe said, trying to ease the tension.
The unaware crewmates remained bewildered and shocked. Neptune and Aladdin, who knew the truth, quietly sighed and said nothing more.
...
Time passed slowly, and soon the sun climbed high in the sky.
After bringing Shirahoshi back to her private estate, Hikaru played with the mermaids until lunchtime was over.
The appointed time had come. He gently broke free from Shirahoshi's embrace, transformed into lightning, and vanished on the spot.
When he reappeared, he was already in the observation room of the Ryugu Kingdom, where he could clearly see outside Fishman Island through multiple layers of protective barriers.
With a thought from Hikaru, the entire Fishman Island began to rise slowly, moving in the direction indicated by the eternal pose of Thunder God Island.
Behind Fishman Island, Noah's Ark followed closely.
"Now that we're here, this giant ship can be considered a trophy, so of course we're taking it with us," Hikaru mused.
The journey was peaceful at first, but as they moved farther away from the Sunlight Tree Eve, the people of Fishman Island felt the sunlight gradually disappearing as they descended into endless darkness.
After ascending about 3,000 meters, the area around Fishman Island suddenly brightened.
This unexpected change made Hikaru frown. With his sharp eyesight, he spotted a Sea King that looked like a lantern fish appearing around Fishman Island.
"Could it be the lantern fish that ate Olga's island and collects pure gold?" he wondered.
As if to deny his guess, the Sea King with the lantern-like appendage suddenly emitted an even brighter light.
Now everyone could clearly see the current situation surrounding Fishman Island.
They were surrounded by more than a dozen Sea Kings, each over 5,000 meters long!
"Could they sense Shirahoshi's movements or those of Fishman Island?" Hikaru thought.
"God... My Lord God, what should we do?" the Sea King Army standing by had never witnessed such a scene before. They trembled as they asked for Hikaru's instructions.
"No need to panic," Hikaru replied, his expression unchanged. With Shirahoshi present, it was impossible for these Sea Kings to attack Fishman Island.
"Ahhhhh~ Why is Fishman Island here?"
"The time hasn't come yet... Why is our mermaid princess leaving the sea?"
"Wait? The opportunity seems to be approaching in these few years. Did we miscalculate hundreds of years ago?"
"Our oath boat~ Why has it also been taken?"
Some voices were sharp, some hoarse, some sincere... Dozens of voices emerged from nowhere and slowly entered Hikaru's mind.
At this moment, he seemed to understand something. He hesitated briefly, then commanded Fishman Island to continue floating upward.
After rising another thousand meters, the Sea Kings could no longer restrain themselves. Their chaotic conversations flooded into Hikaru's mind.
"Although I don't know why Fishman Island is leaving, let's bring it back first!"
With these words spoken, the Sea Kings reached a consensus and rushed forward to seize Fishman Island and Noah, attempting to drag them back to their original location.
More than a dozen Sea Kings exerting force simultaneously—what tremendous power!
Fishman Island and Noah instantly stopped rising, becoming stationary as they fought against Hikaru's control.
After half a breath of stalemate, Fishman Island and Noah began to sink.
Hikaru's body flashed with lightning as he appeared on Fishman Island. Using his electric current to amplify his voice, he shouted:
"Everyone, release Fishman Island!"
After he spoke, the Sea Kings instinctively paused, then let go of Fishman Island and Noah, turning their attention to the comparatively tiny Hikaru.
Their noisy discussion resumed, and Hikaru quickly continued:
"This is an order from the Mermaid Princess herself. She is leaving the sea and heading to an altitude of ten thousand meters!"
"What a terrifying aura... Is he human?"
"Human! We received no orders from the Mermaid Princess! You don't have the 'authority' to convey her commands!"
"Then wait a moment—I'll bring the Mermaid Princess here," Hikaru replied.
"You can understand what I'm saying..."
The Sea Kings fell silent for a long time before finally shouting in unison:
"...Go!"
Hikaru didn't hesitate. He flashed several times and returned to Shirahoshi's private estate. After a brief explanation, he brought Shirahoshi on a flying carpet to the sea above Fishman Island.
"Shirahoshi, tell them that you want to leave the sea and let them... No, first ask them how to awaken the power of Poseidon, the Sea King!" Hikaru realized this was a rare opportunity.
"Yes! My Lord Husband!" Shirahoshi responded softly.
She timidly looked at the dozen or so Sea Kings. For some reason, she could sense a friendly feeling emanating from them.
Following Hikaru's request, she called out in her gentle voice, "Master Sea Kings! How... how can I awaken the power of Poseidon, the Sea King?"
"The Little Mermaid..."
"Awakening the power of Poseidon, the Sea King... We are not the Sea King, how would we know..."
"Just be evasive..."
"What are you saying! The Mermaid Princess can hear everything!"
Hearing these words, Hikaru frowned. Why didn't these Sea Kings know this, and why were their personalities so erratic?
Shirahoshi burst into laughter, finding them extremely amusing.
"Wow... you will know once the princess grows up!"
Hikaru's mouth twitched. It seemed he couldn't extract this information from the Sea Kings—or perhaps this was the truth, and he simply had to wait for Shirahoshi to mature.
