Lukas reached his home with his dad and brother. The cars were coming, but nobody asked what he brought them at all, they just felt his presence was enough.
Lukas's mother was waiting outside in her wheelchair. When she saw the old truck entering the road and coming towards her, she smiled. She was missing Lukas, and after seeing him on TV, she missed him even more.
"Maggie, what are you doing outside?"
A woman who was gardening in the nearby house asked, she was a neighbor and also had seen Lukas grow up in this neighborhood where everyone knew everyone.
"Well, don't tell anyone, Rosa, but Lukas is coming, so I was just waiting for him."
Maggie said casually she didn't know the impact Lukas could have in her own neighborhood.
Rosa hearing this was shocked, she threw the watering can and ran inside. She was too excited to talk about anything anymore with Maggie.
