Inside the empty classroom, Charles was talking casually when Edward suddenly grabbed his wrist and pulled him inside. The door swung shut behind them.
"So," Edward said with a smirk, "are you going to give me a gift here?"
Charles blinked, then smiled and said, "Close your eyes."
Edward raised a brow but obeyed, closing his eyes. A moment passed. Then Charles stepped forward, leaned in, and gently pressed a kiss to Edward's cheek.
Edward opened his eyes slowly, stunned. His gaze softened, shocked but touched. Then, without thinking, he reached for Charles's hand, brought it to his lips, and kissed it softly.
"I love this gift," he whispered.
Charles stared at him, eyes full of something warm and unreadable. Edward blushed slightly, lowering his eyes. "I want you, Charles," he murmured.
"I want you too," Charles replied gently, his voice sincere.
Just then—knock knock knock—a voice came from the other side of the door.
"Is someone there?"
