Kael chuckled under his breath. "Hard to believe she looks this cute when sleeping."
"I am too," Lila said between chews.
"Should I wake her?" Kael asked, glancing back at Tila.
Lila's eyes flicked up, then back to her tray. "She'll be pissed if you don't. And hungrier than a wolf, so she will be pissed even more"
Kael smirked. "Sounds about right."
He crouched by the passenger door, balancing Tila's tray in one hand, when a mischievous idea sparked—dangerous, stupid, and just fun enough to tempt him.
He leaned closer, bringing his fingers to Tila's nose, pinching her nostrils shut with a featherlight touch.
