Lilith looked at him with a hint of surprise while Ji Yan had his mouth agape, looking completely disgraceful.
Adrian had not used the mic, not opened his eyes, yet his bid had caused the biggest impact of the night.

At this moment, Adrian's eyes cracked open. Like a beast stirring from his slumber, he looked ahead with narrowed eyes.
Even when he had his eyes closed, he looked magnificent. But when he opened the pair of onyx eyes, it seemed like the entire world could be contained within them.
Lilith held her breath, losing the track of her thoughts momentarily.

Adrian rose to his feet and in a few large strides, he stepped out of the room.
Hearing his words, Ji Yan was stunned. After a moment, he turned to Lilith and bowed his head, "Miss Quinn, please take care."
