"Oh man, you must really be crazy," Austin said, clapping his hands and laughing as he stood up, walking toward Nikolas. He placed both hands on Nikolas' shoulders.
"It must be the food or the air in this country, but just give it time. Once we are out of here, you won't even remember her name," Austin said, not wanting to listen to Nikolas' stupid plan any longer.
He was in love and honestly, people in love do crazy things.
"This is not just some fling, Austin," Nikolas said, pushing Austin's hands down from his shoulders.
"What I feel for her is real. And I will not let her continue to live in bondage when I know there's something I can do to help. I will not be able to live with myself," Nikolas said, as the image of the scars on Aurora's body flashed through his head, sending a gut-wrenching pain through him.
