Meanwhile, in the other room, both Everly and Everlyn were huddled together as they looked at something on their holo phone.
"Do you think we should ask Ethan now or wait till tomorrow morning?" Everly asked, her voice quiet.
Everlyn paused for a moment, tapping her chin. "Let's not ask him just yet. Let him rest—we can try again in the morning. Besides, we'll have to do some shopping first."
Everly nodded in agreement. "True."
"But why did Mom ask us to sleep so early?" Everlyn asked, frowning a little. "I don't think she's ever done that before. She always lets us stay up late."
Everly sighed. "Yeah, and that's another weird thing. But since Mom has her reasons, maybe we should just do as she asks and go to sleep."
Everlyn thought for a bit before sighing and giving in. "Fine."
The two girls made themselves comfortable on the bed and eventually drifted off to sleep.
