"Where is Flare?"
I quickly got up and went in search of him but before I could go further, he walked into the room right on time with a stoic expression.
"Flare," I gasped.
"What am I hearing?" He demanded as his hands clenched to fists.
"What happened back then when you met Ingrid at your soon to be in-laws place?" I asked while ignoring his question.
"What am I hearing about Ingrid being with Lanzon?" He demanded again, ignoring my question.
"Ingrid claims that they are lovers," Hui answered in irritation.
"Lovers?" He repeated in disdain.
"Can you remember anything that may have actually meant something?" I desperately asked, hoping that Flare would remember and the more he remained silent, the more his brows smoothened and it made me realize he remembered something.
"I bought a magnificent painting when I went for an exhibition and they said it belonged to a student under Lanzon. I bought it because I was intrigued and…."
