Delphine turned her gaze to Ignatius Leclair, seeing the man looking down at reports from various departments, his handsome brows slightly furrowed, revealing no hint of emotion.
She frowned slightly, reluctant to approach him. When this man doesn't smile, there's an intimidating coldness about him, stay too long and you might get frostbite.
"I am currently in the rising phase of my career. If I stay at home on holiday all the time, all the previous efforts would be wasted," she said blandly, "Once this matter has calmed down, I'll go out to work."
Assistant Maximilian coughed softly, looking troubled, this was out of his control.
"In a couple of days, Bessie Leclair is getting engaged, the Leclair Family is in the spotlight, you should stay home and rest for a few days," Ignatius Leclair suddenly spoke in a low voice, lifting his head from the pile of dull reports, his gaze as deep as an ancient pool.
