Hearing that Faye had returned, Richard stood up like he'd seen a savior, "Why are you coming back so late?
Is it okay for someone with a kid to be out this late at night?"
Faye frowned and looked at him, "What are you doing here?"
Darnley, with a demeanor almost like an adult, stood up and walked over to Richard, "Hey, why are you scolding my mom? This is my home."
Richard gritted his teeth and glared at Faye, "How could you raise a child to be such a little devil?"
"What nonsense are you talking?" She held Darnley up and looked towards Uncle Rivers, who was chuckling on the side.
What happened?
Darnley pointed at Richard, "From now on, don't speak to my mom like that."
"Okay, okay, my little ancestor, Uncle Rivers, take this kid aside, I need to talk to Faye."
Uncle Rivers stepped forward to pick Darnley up, and Faye was still puzzled, wondering if she'd missed something earlier?
Richard pulled Faye to a study on the side.
