He placed her ankle in his palm, gently massaging it, and she immediately furrowed her brows again, letting out a soft cry.
"Does it hurt a lot?" he asked.
"A bit," she answered.
"Let's go to the hospital," Kyle instructed the driver.
"There's no need to go to the hospital. I'll just spray some pain relief and bruise ointment on it later," Mabel said.
"To the hospital," Kyle insisted firmly.
The driver's car headed toward the hospital. While in the car, Mabel briefly recounted the restaurant incident to Kyle and then said, "I don't regret slapping Hannah. It's just that I didn't expect she would do something like that." It was almost like attempted murder.
"You still need to be careful in the future. I'll assign two bodyguards to follow you, so this kind of thing doesn't happen again," Kyle said. As for the woman who knocked Mabel down the stairs, the price she'd pay wouldn't be just that leg.
