Chapter 20 - Han Yuyao — Someone’s Coming for Your Brother’s Kidneys!

Seeing the deadly serious expression on Huang Yu's face, Han Yuyao instantly dropped her act of pretending to be asleep.

She sat up abruptly. "What happened? What's going on with Han Kun?!"

Even though her younger brother was a notorious loafer, he wasn't the type to go completely off the rails — plus, he was always surrounded by bodyguards.

But since she'd already learned from Huang Yu's inner thoughts that he could predict the future, she didn't dare brush it off.Still, she couldn't help but wonder: Was this all part of some scheme?

Unfortunately, Huang Yu didn't have time to explain.

It had only just hit him — and according to the original plot, time was running out. Even a moment's delay could lead to disaster.

Furrowing his brows, he tried to recall the details from the book and barked at Han Yuyao:

"Dìháo Club, private room 2318! You have to go — now!"

"Go!!"

As he spoke, he grabbed her wrist, his tone growing more urgent with each word.

Seeing the unshakable seriousness in his eyes, Han Yuyao tensed up and nodded quickly.

This was her little brother they were talking about — she wasn't about to take any chances.

She flung open the door and barked orders to her colleagues to watch Huang Yu closely.

Before she disappeared, she turned back and warned, "Don't you dare try anything funny! Don't even think about running!"

With that, she slammed the door and took off.

Rallying a team from the Criminal Police Unit, she rushed toward the largest club in Tianhai — Dìháo Club.

Watching her silhouette vanish down the hallway, Huang Yu finally let out a small breath of relief.

Though deep down, he still wasn't sure — Would she make it in time?

"Ah, Kunkun… Your brother's done all he can. Whether your kidneys make it out alive is up to your sister now…"

He muttered softly as he stared at the closed door.

There was nothing else he could do at this point — only pray that Han Yuyao got there in time.

After all, in the original story, Han Kun had let his libido get the better of him and decided to cut loose at Tianhai's most extravagant club.

What he didn't expect was that it was a setup.

He ended up walking straight into a trap — a textbook "honey trap" — and got kidnapped.

Not only did the culprits extort a massive ransom from the Han family, causing their financial chain to collapse and dealing devastating losses…

Han Kun himself had both his kidneys removed.

It was only after scraping together a rare donor match that they managed to barely keep him alive.

After that, when facing Xiao Zhan — that damned crooked-mouthed protagonist — the first of the Four Great Families to fall was the Han family.

And it all began with Han Kun.

According to the book, that honey trap was far from accidental.

It had likely been a meticulously orchestrated setup from the start.

Dìháo Club.

The largest entertainment complex in Tianhai. Spanning hundreds of acres, it had every luxury imaginable — from spas and theaters to private gambling dens.

Getting in wasn't just a matter of money.More often than not, entrance required power, status, and serious social clout.

It wasn't just a playground of indulgence — it was a status symbol.

At this moment, luxury cars glided past its gates one after another. Young heirs and elite regulars strutted inside, each looking to enjoy a night of excess.

Suddenly, with a thunderous roar of the engine, a limited-edition Bugatti rolled up, instantly drawing everyone's attention.

"Holy crap! Isn't that the model that just made headlines last month?!"

"There were barely a handful of those made. And it's already on the streets?!"

The crowd erupted in a wave of gasps and murmurs.

Everyone craned their necks, eager to see who had the balls to show up with that ride — and cause such a ruckus at Dìháo's front gates.

The driver's door popped open…

And out jumped a flamboyant figure who did a flashy "Crow Flying the Plane" pose as he leapt out, greeting the crowd with an exaggerated wink and a heart-shaped air kiss.

"Hello, everyone!"

The entire crowd went dead silent.

"F**k me… What a waste of a car. This clown is the one driving it?!"

Because who in Tianhai didn't know — among the infamous Four Young Lords, the most useless of them all was Han Kun.

Yes, he was the biological younger brother of the legendary "Iron Flower" of the police force, Han Yuyao, and came from a prestigious ancient martial arts clan.

But the guy hated martial arts and never learned a lick of the Han family's Cold Jade Palm technique.

All he ever cared about was singing, dancing, and rapping.

On top of that, he'd been causing chaos with Huang Yu for years.

If the Han family had any other heir besides him and Han Yuyao, the clan rules would've seen him put down a long time ago.

A seductive woman with a revealing outfit and enchanting features slid into his embrace.

Han Kun gave her a loving glance, tossed his car keys to an underling, and swaggered inside with her hanging off his arm.

"Han Shao, look at them all — they're totally stunned by your entrance!"

The woman giggled, her eyes sparkling with admiration.

"Of course."Han Kun swept a proud look around the entrance, then boldly declared:

"Tonight, I'm rewriting the history of Tianhai's singing and dancing scene!"

"Stick around — you're about to hear my breakout single. It's gonna bring the house down!"

He laughed out loud, then gave the woman a teasing glance that clearly said, You're mine tonight.

"Oh, you're so bad~"

She blushed and playfully thumped his chest with her tiny fists, making Han Kun puff up even more with that king-of-the-world confidence.

What he didn't see…

Was the flash of cold light in the woman's eyes the moment she dropped her gaze.

Soon, flanked by a group of attendants, they made their way into the club.

"Han Shao! You're here!"

"Bro! We've been waiting for you!"

"Is this the new Miss Han Shao? Damn, you've got great taste."

Among the younger crowd, Han Kun still had some sway. A handful of fellow rich heirs rushed forward to greet him and score some face time.

Even the club manager squeezed into the crowd, wearing a toady grin.

"Han Shao, welcome. Your private room is ready. Shall I take you up?"

"Yeah, lead the way."

Not even two minutes after Han Kun entered the club, the sound of wailing police sirens shattered the night.

Several squad cars screeched to a stop in front of Dìháo's grand entrance.

Han Yuyao marched out with over twenty uniformed officers in tow, cutting straight through the stunned crowd.

She flashed her badge.

"Police inspection! Everyone cooperate!"
