"Hahaha, this is art!"
High in the sky, Deidara rode on a giant clay bird, constantly dropping spider-shaped clay bombs like a bomber raining death.
Suddenly—whoosh!—a Tailed Beast Ball shot up from below, forcing Deidara to veer off course in a panic. The blast grazed him, instantly severing one of his arms before detonating mid-air.
BOOM!!!
A massive explosion rocked the sky, sending a wave of force that pushed Deidara further back.
"What terrifying art!!!" Deidara gasped. The explosion's destructive power was on par with his own C4 Garuda.
From below, Obito narrowed his eyes and muttered in surprise, "The Eight-Tails?"
Killer Bee, enraged, fired again.
"I'll blow you to pieces, you bastard!"
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Three more Tailed Beast Balls shot toward Deidara, who was now terrified. His arm was gone from just one brush with the attack. If he got hit again, revival would be a long, agonizing process.
"Damn thug!"
Deidara immediately ditched his bird, allowing it to dive down and intercept one of the incoming attacks.
BOOM!!!
The explosion engulfed the bird and the Tailed Beast Ball.
Seeing this, Uchiha Itachi activated his Susanoo. One hand raised the Yata Mirror to block the incoming Tailed Beast Ball, while the other hand reached out and caught Deidara. He retreated swiftly.
BOOM!!!
The Yata Mirror cracked and shattered under the impact.
Another Tailed Beast Ball came flying straight toward them.
Sasori prepared to control his puppet, but Obito reacted first.
"Kamui!"
A massive swirling vortex opened, sucking the Tailed Beast Ball into another dimension.
Killer Bee gritted his teeth. "You can suck, huh? I'll give you more to suck!"
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Three more Tailed Beast Balls launched from his maw.
Within his mind, Gyūki warned, "You're burning through chakra. Slow down and let me recover some first!"
Killer Bee growled. Since he hadn't charged fully, he was forced to stop and observe the battlefield.
Obito sneered and activated Dual Kamui, doubling the absorption speed. In an instant, four Tailed Beast Balls vanished into his dimension.
Itachi returned to Obito's side, still piloting Susanoo.
"Throw me into the sky," Obito ordered.
Without hesitation, Itachi used Susanoo's strength to hurl Obito into the air.
In mid-air, Obito sneered, "You like firing shots? Let me return the favor!"
A swirling vortex formed overhead. From it, four previously absorbed Tailed Beast Balls launched back down toward Killer Bee.
Killer Bee's expression twisted in horror.
"Gyūki! We need to redirect those out of the village or we're all dead!"
Gyūki cursed, "Idiot! If they collide mid-air, the explosion will level the entire village. The shockwaves alone will obliterate everything!"
Desperate, Killer Bee shouted, "Then use your body to block it!"
Tentacles sprouted and moved forward.
Obito sneered, "Reap what you sow!"
At that moment, Naruto formed a hand seal and shouted, "Uncle Bee! Gyūki! Fall back!"
Killer Bee and Gyūki paused, startled.
Naruto yelled, "Kurama! Wake up!"
A guttural growl echoed as Kurama opened one eye.
"Ahhh…"
With a roar, Naruto entered his full Nine-Tails Chakra Mode. Four chakra tails shot into the air like golf clubs, swatting all four Tailed Beast Balls away with terrifying ease.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The sky lit up with massive explosions.
Inside the mindscape, Kurama grinned. "Tsk tsk, Gyūki. Your Tailed Beast Balls are so weak. I batted them away with just four tails."
Gyūki growled, "Have some manners, damn fox!"
On the battlefield, Deidara looked on with awe.
"Now that is art!"
Uchiha Itachi was visibly shocked. "That's… Naruto? He's mastered the Nine-Tails to this extent?"
Kakuzu clicked his tongue, memories of their previous encounters flashing in his mind.
"Disgusting brat…"
Sasori, manipulating his puppet, was just as shaken.
From mid-air, Obito landed hard, his bloodshot eyes filled with rage.
"Uzumaki Naruto… it's always you!!!"
"Again and again, you've ruined my plans. Again and again, you stand in my way!"
He clenched his fists in fury.
Naruto canceled his transformation and floated mid-air using his Six Paths powers, smiling down.
"What's wrong, Obito? Is your little glass heart cracking? That's not like you."
Itachi flickered forward, inspecting Naruto up close. His expression froze.
That's… the Rinnegan?!
Impossible!
How does Naruto have the Rinnegan?!
Naruto noticed Itachi and thought, So, Kabuto already reanimated him. Seems Kabuto lent him to Obito. They're working together now.
He smiled faintly. What luck… Itachi's right in front of me. I can't let him escape.
Too bad I didn't transplant Shisui's Kotoamatsukami into my eye. I could've freed him from Edo Tensei instantly. No matter—I'll handle it.
Raikage charged forward, fully activating his Lightning Release Armor.
"Akatsuki! You damn leader! You've destroyed my village! I, the Raikage, challenge you to a duel!"
Obito laughed coldly. "Heh, Lord Raikage… I never thought the mighty Lightning Shadow would stoop so low as to ask for help. And from a Konoha rogue-nin, no less!"
Killer Bee stepped forward. "Naruto's my friend. As a shinobi of Kumogakure, it's my duty to protect the village. Naruto is here for me!"
Nozomi appeared beside them, glaring at Obito. "You want to take someone? Try me first!"
Obito's smirk vanished. "At first, I only wanted a hostage… but you invited the one person I despise most. Don't blame me for going all out."
He prepared for battle.
Naruto grinned, eyes narrowing. The next second, Sage Mode surged through him.
He vanished with Flying Thunder God.
Zzzzt! The Rasengan formed in his hand.
He'd practiced this version after becoming Hokage—one-handed Big Rasengan.
Obito's eye twitched. "Impossible! I erased all his Flying Thunder God marks! How did he teleport?!"
As Obito phased through the attack, Naruto's smile widened.
The Rasengan curved mid-air and launched toward Itachi.
Obito's eye widened. The target was Itachi all along?!
Itachi reacted instantly, Susanoo forming. But Naruto had expected it.
Boom!
Two massive Nine-Tails Chakra Arms sprouted from Naruto's back and clamped down on Susanoo's sides.
"Break!"
Naruto roared as Kurama's full chakra form exploded into a giant fox again.
With a beastly roar, he slammed his claws into Itachi's half-body Susanoo.
Crack! Crack!
Itachi screamed as his Susanoo's arms and half his body shattered along with his real body.
"Sage Art: Big Ball Rasengan!"
The spiraling chakra sphere expanded to monstrous size and crashed into the exposed chest of Susanoo.
CRACK!!!
The Susanoo shattered like glass. Itachi's defenses collapsed.
"AMATERASU!!!"
Black flames erupted toward Naruto.
But Naruto didn't dodge. Instead, he lunged forward.
Obito's eye widened. He's trying to capture Itachi!
Obito opened a Kamui vortex and rushed forward.
But Naruto snorted and raised a hand.
"Banshō Ten'in!"
"NO!!!"
Obito screamed as a massive gravitational pull yanked Itachi toward Naruto.
Naruto's other Nine-Tails arm shot out and grabbed Itachi.
He dragged him inside the fox's chakra body, pinched his neck with one hand, and muttered coldly, "Sorry."
With a crack!, a black Chakra Rod extended from his left palm, nailing Itachi's hands in place.
Another rod pierced his feet. More stabbed into his torso.
Itachi gasped. "I—I can't move!"
