Chapter 206 - Sorry x2

Cooking Master Boy World

When his consciousness returned, Chef Renzo stayed seated, quietly letting the new powers and memories fuse together.

It took him over half an hour before he finally stood up.

Renzo went to his master's room first. Seeing her pale and worn out in bed, he gently asked, "Sensei… are you feeling any better?"

Master Pai slowly opened her eyes and gave him a tired smile. "A little."

"Sorry to make you worry, Renzo."

Renzo's nose stung. If she hadn't taken him in back then, he'd probably have died long ago.

"Sensei, don't talk. I'm going to heal you now!"

Renzo quietly chanted in his heart: "Holy Healing!"

In the next moment, a tiny magic circle appeared in his palm. His whole hand began glowing with a soft platinum light, gently enveloping Pai's head and body.

"You silly kid, you've gone crazy or somethi—huh?"

Master Pai was just about to scold Renzo for acting weird, but then she felt it—something wasn't right.

A warm, gentle energy flowed from Renzo's palm, spreading through her mind and body like a soft breeze.

Almost instantly, the exhaustion and mental strain she'd been feeling started to melt away. Her body, weak and worn out, was quickly regaining strength.

Even the old injuries she'd picked up from past fights with the Dark Cooking Society—ones that never quite healed—were being restored like magic.

It only took a few minutes. When Renzo finally pulled his hand back, Master Pai sat up with wide eyes, completely stunned. She looked at her hands, then turned to Renzo with a mix of shock and wonder.

"Renzo… this… you… I…"

"I had a lucky encounter, Master!" Renzo said with a grin, making something up on the spot. "I ran into a blue-haired old woman, and she passed on this power to me! You're all healed now!"

Renzo silently apologized to Aqua in his mind—'Sorry, you blue-haired idiot. I'll tell Hero to get you some wine as a reward.'

"Is that so?" Master Pai chuckled, ruffling his hair fondly. "Thank you, truly."

She didn't press for details—just smiled with genuine relief even though she knew it was a lie. She could feel the change in her little disciple. He seemed more mature now. More confident.

That was it—confidence.

Before, due to his lack of talent, Renzo had always been pretty insecure. He didn't have the energy or drive a young boy should have.

But now? That spark was definitely there.

"Do you feel any lingering pain or discomfort?" Renzo asked gently.

"None at all!" she replied brightly. "I feel great! I can start cooking again tomorrow. We can finally get back on track!"

"Renzo nodded eagerly, then reached into his sleeve and pulled out two gold ingots—freshly conjured using his [Fantasy Creation] cheat.

"These are also from another old woman with golden hair! Use them to help the restaurant. No more overworking yourself, okay? Master, your health comes first!"

Renzo silently apologized again, this time to Darkness—'Sorry, you golden-haired masochist. I'll tell Hero to... maybe learn a thing or two from that hentai guy?'

Master Pai was stunned when she saw the gold. She wanted to say no at first, but seeing Renzo's serious expression, she finally nodded and accepted them.

"Alright. I promise."

"Thank you for thinking of your master," she added warmly. "But just so you know—you don't get to slack off either!"

"I'm going to make sure I train you properly. I'm gonna turn you into a true chef!"

She grinned mischievously. "So get ready to work hard, little Renzo! Hehe!"

Renzo laughed nervously. "Uhh… did I just dig myself into a hole?"

"Too late now! Go get some rest. You're waking up early tomorrow to help in the kitchen! I want to see just how much you've really improved. Let's go!" she said, punching the air like a cheerful schoolgirl.

Over the next few days, Renzo did three things: he learned how to cook, built an underground base with the help of the A.I. Red Queen, and taught the people around him the Breathing techniques from the Demon Slayer world.

Renzo was getting closer to become a Super Chef.
