Chapter 71 - CHAPTER 71: AUCTION BEGINS

The first was brought to the stage by a servant and the auctioneer took it from his hands and displayed it to everyone.

It was a long sword with a red gleam in the middle and sharp, gleaming edges on both sides.

This sword is a top-tier, first-grade artifact, intricately designed with a fire damage array on one side and a sharpening array on the other.

"Upon Inserting qi into the sword can make more sharper and upon attacking the enemy will feel fire damage to their body." The auctioneer explained.

"The starting price of the artifact is 1000 low-grade spirit stones; each increment should be no less than 50 spirit stones; you can start the bidding now," the auctioneer announced.

Soon, the bids began to rise as each attendee at the auction eagerly vied to win the artifact for themselves.

At last, a qi refining peak cultivator brought it for 8000 low-grade spirit stones.

The next auction item was a pill used to consolidate the realm of qi refiners. It was purchased for 6000 low-grade spirit stones by another peak qi refiner.

The third item was a peak qi realm puppet designed solely for serving guests. It can handle everything from household chores to cooking, but it lacks any defensive or offensive capabilities.

Ray participated in the auction as he was interested in such a good item and eventually won 10,000 low-grade spirit stones.

The next few items were mainly defense shields with formations to absorb impact, followed by a formation plate that could be used for attacking once set up.

Next was the mountain guarding formation, which could protect the houses of qi refiners, and finally, the last auction item of the qi realm section was presented.

The item was a first-grade top-level alchemy furnace. Everyone was mesmerized by the sight of the beautiful red furnace, and their breathing quickened with greed as they longed to get their hands on it.

Many alchemists nowadays don't have the proper alchemy furnace which resulted in the low-level pills flooding the market while the ingredients used are all high-grade ingredients.

A good furnace is essential for making high-quality pills and advancing as an alchemist. The furnace is the primary accessory needed for success.

The starting price for the alchemy furnace is 5,000 low-grade spirit stones, with each bid increasing by 1,000 low-grade spirit stones.

Soon a first-level high-grade alchemist brought it for 15,000 low grade spirit stones.

The next items up for auction are the foundation realm items and exercises. There will be a ten-minute break, during which those who wish to leave can do so after paying for and collecting their auction items.

Soon, a few members sitting downstairs left the auction, collecting the items they had bid on after paying the amount.

Many chose to stay, eager to see the auctioned items and participate, if possible, as the foundation realm items are not something they encounter daily.

After the ten-minute break, the auction started and the starting items were low-grade second-level artifacts which included swords, lances, halberds, shields, and many other weapons.

Soon the items were sold at the base price of 300,000 to 500,000 spirit stones each piece.

Generally, low-quality used artifacts can be bought in a high-tier city for about 100,000 spirit stones, but it's rare to see newly made ones in small cities, and the cost due to auctioning will always be exorbitant.

Such as now the items were sold for at least 300,000 to 500,000 which is about three to five items the price of used artifacts.

Further down the auction, the item being auctioned was the 100 sachets of tea leaves that Ray had commissioned.

Each sachet sold for the price of 10,000 low-grade spirit stones, up to a maximum of 20,000 spirit stones. After all, everyone had heard the rumors of the great usage of the tea leaves.

Then came the final items of the auction.

There are four items in the final auction and the first item auctioned was a second-grade meteorite which can be used to refine and make artifacts.

The items were eventually sold for a price of 500,000 low grade spirit stones.

The next item was a great earth attribute defense mountain protection formation which was a second-level high-grade formation.

Many competed for the items, but in the end, a foundation master acquired them for one million low-grade spirit stones.

The Next item was a spirit boat which had a second level top grade defense formation on it and its moments could be controlled using an array that was built in it.

Thanks to the array that aids in navigation and movement, the ship can travel the great river effortlessly without the risk of being overturned by the river's flow.

It has three floors with luxury rooms to accommodate up to 100 passengers with individual rooms on the top floor, while the second floor can be used as a recreation floor for the passengers and a dining hall for them.

The first floor can be used as servant quarters and a kitchen to prepare food.

The last floor the basement of the ship is used to carry goods up to 10 tons of weight.

The item is not currently with us, and the winning bidder will need to wait at least 15 days to receive it after making the payment. However, Jade Pavilion guarantees the delivery of the item to the auction winner. The auctioneer guarantees this as well.

Ray immediately sat up straight upon hearing a ship that could travel the great river effortlessly.

Misha noticed him becoming attentive for the first time since he sat down at the auction, observing that he was eagerly waiting for the bidding to start on the auction item.

Soon the auction started with a starting price of one million.

Many who were first ready to participate sat down dejectedly after hearing an extraordinary starting price of one million.

Seeing the silence the auctioneer had an embarrassed expression on his face and made the concession of making the half payment now and the second half offer after the ship is delivered.

Soon the many foundation experts contacted their families in different cities through communication jade and got the approval of their families to bid for the item.
