"Eighteen million?!" Morgan pouted, unsure if she could continue to bid.
I wasn't sure how much of a spending limit Father gave her, but it seemed like she was coming close to the top. To be honest, I was already surprised that he gave her that much already.
She hit the bid button one more time and looked down at the MC with hopeful eyes. I followed along and looked down at the stage to see if anyone had won yet.
On the stage, the MC was reading from his tablet, then looked up at the crowd.
"Twenty Million! Do we have any other takers?"
Morgan looked like she was about to burst into tears. It was a good thing that Christian sat in front because if not, she most likely would have begged for money.
After a few more bids, the price went up to over twenty-five million, making it a record-breaking amount of money that a piece of jewelry had been sold for.
