Chapter 244 - Chapter 244: The Finale

As the light at the heart of the Guardian Titan reached its peak intensity, a dazzling beam erupted forth, instantly striking all of the Chibaku Tensei orbs. They were vaporized on impact, reduced to nothingness.

The beam didn't stop there—it surged straight toward Uchiha Madara.

The chakra within the beam was incomparably pure, compressed to an extreme degree. This was an attack unleashed by Jiraiya, harnessing all the power of the Tailed Beasts within him, combined with his own strength.

Before Madara could react, the beam crashed into his Susanoo.

Boom!

A thunderous explosion echoed across the battlefield as Susanoo was sent flying. The point of impact caved in deeply, and from that spot, an intricate web of cracks spread rapidly across its entire form. The fully manifested Susanoo was nearly shattered by a single blow from Jiraiya.

"How is this possible? How could you possess such overwhelming power?"

Madara's eyes were filled with disbelief.

"I told you already—your era is over. This world no longer belongs to you."

"Madara, until now, you are the only shinobi worthy of making me go all out. I acknowledge your strength."

Jiraiya's words were calm yet resolute. As he spoke, the Guardian Titan levitated higher, the divine halo behind its head spinning rapidly. With a simple upward motion of its right hand, an enormous Rasengan materialized and hurtled toward Madara.

Madara's Susanoo crossed its twin blades in a desperate attempt to counter, but the instant the Rasengan made contact, it detonated violently, shattering the swords into pieces.

"Limbo: Border Jail."

A sense of intense oppression filled the air—stronger than even what he had felt when battling Senju Hashirama. Madara activated one of his Rinnegan abilities.

From his eyes, four invisible shadows emerged—beings that only a Rinnegan wielder could perceive. These shadows, possessing the same strength as Madara himself, rushed toward Jiraiya.

The unique nature of these shadows made them nearly invincible; they could alternate between physical and intangible states and were imperceptible to anyone without the Rinnegan. The only drawback was that they had to return to the caster periodically, and any injuries they sustained while in a tangible state would be reflected back to Madara.

For most opponents, these shadows were an insurmountable threat. However, Jiraiya was different. He possessed the Eye of Insight bestowed by the system—an ability surpassing the Rinnegan.

Though he had yet to fully unlock its potential, simply having the Eye of Insight allowed him to perceive the Limbo clones.

The moment the four shadows appeared, Jiraiya's right eye spun sharply as he locked onto them. Instantly, the surrounding space distorted, generating an immense gravitational force that bound the clones in place.

At the center of the distortion, chains formed from condensed space energy shot out, wrapping tightly around the shadows. Without giving them a chance to escape, the chains dragged them into the void, erasing their presence from this world entirely.

At the same moment, Madara's connection to his Limbo clones was severed. He could no longer sense them.

"This… This is impossible! You don't have the Rinnegan—how can you see them?!"

Madara's expression twisted in shock. This defied his understanding of dojutsu.

"Because my eyes surpass even your Rinnegan," Jiraiya replied coolly.

"Gedo Statue."

Madara's voice was cold as he performed a summoning technique. With a deafening rumble, the ground split apart, and from the depths of the earth, an enormous, grotesque statue emerged—the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.

"Demonic Statue Chains."

The Gedo Statue opened its maw, spewing forth countless purple chains that shot toward Jiraiya. These chains had the power to suppress Tailed Beasts—once entangled, there was no escape.

However, Jiraiya remained unfazed. The Guardian Titan extended its hand, grasping the divine halo behind its head, and with a powerful swing, hurled it forward.

The spinning halo cleaved through the air, effortlessly severing all the approaching chains before they could reach him.

Summoning the Gedo Statue had taken a toll on Madara. His already injured body was pushed closer to its limits. Maintaining both the statue and his full-body Susanoo drained his strength at an alarming rate.

Blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.

"Damn this broken body… If only I were younger, I wouldn't be in this pathetic state," Madara cursed inwardly. His prideful arrogance was now being crushed by a mere "younger generation" shinobi. A bitter sense of unwillingness surged within him.

"Madara, your Moon's Eye Plan is flawed. A world of forced peace has no meaning. The new era of the shinobi world will be shaped by my hands. True, I cannot erase all suffering, but I can at least reduce the endless cycle of war."

Jiraiya's voice was unwavering as he hovered above Madara, looking down upon him through the eyes of the Guardian Titan.

Madara had already exhausted every technique at his disposal, yet he had failed to inflict even a single significant wound on Jiraiya. His defeat was inevitable.

"Hah… Jiraiya, your so-called ideal world is nothing more than naive wishful thinking. You may dream of peace, but can you guarantee it will ever become reality? True peace can only be achieved through control. My plan is the only correct path."

Madara's fury exploded as he pushed forward, commanding both the Gedo Statue and his Susanoo to charge at Jiraiya one last time.

Jiraiya sighed lightly, shaking his head. The Guardian Titan's chest began gathering chakra once more, condensing into another blinding beam of light. When it fired, the blast tore through Madara's fully-formed Susanoo, shattering it completely.

As for the Gedo Statue, Jiraiya raised his hand, conjuring a massive meteor from above. It plummeted straight down, crashing into the statue and pinning it beneath its colossal weight. Without hesitation, he wove a series of hand seals, executing the Adamantine Sealing Chains to bind the Gedo Statue in place.

"It's over… It's all over…"

Watching from the sidelines, Black Zetsu trembled in sheer panic. If Madara was defeated, then all hope of reviving his mother, Kaguya, would be lost. Jiraiya had already seen through his plans—there was no way he would allow them to come to fruition.

Once Madara was gone, Jiraiya would undoubtedly turn his attention to eliminating him as well.

"Dying on the battlefield… is the most fitting end for a warrior like you."

Jiraiya's voice carried a solemn finality as he commanded the Guardian Titan forward. Its fist clenched tightly and swung toward Madara.

Madara desperately launched one final barrage of jutsu, but every technique was shattered upon impact with the Guardian Titan's fist.

In the end, the colossal punch connected with Madara's body.

And with that, the legend of Uchiha Madara came to an end.
