Back inside the house, the air in the living room was heavy and the silence blanketed by tension after Zyran's announcement.
"Does anyone have something to say?" Zyran asked, while his eyes remained on Wilson, who he knew obviously had more than something to say, the man was fuming.
Alvaro coughed, breaking the silence, and touched his hair slowly.
"Let us hear from Alvaro then," Wilson spoke up when he noticed how Alvaro was now looking around like he was lost. "Why are you the one speaking to us, son? Are you trying to take your grandfather's wealth by force when he isn't sound enough?"
Delphine furrowed her brows, "What do you mean, isn't sound enough?" she asked, looking at her father, then son, and finally ex-husband.
Wilson pointed at Zyran, "Maybe he could tell us or—" he gave Alvaro a smile, "Even better, Alvaro."
Zyran scoffed, shaking his head. "You think those theatrics will earn you anything? Alvaro asked me to speak."
