None of them spoke of it for the rest of the morning, yet it lingered, the type of concern that lingered even when the room was filled with warmth and conversation.
Because the deeper they traveled, the more obvious it became:

Even if the others weren't ready to admit it yet, he had no more faith and hope that the ones from the creed could be saved; no amount of reason excuses them for killing the innocent or for using them to get what they wanted. He was not going to tolerate it any longer.
After they finished having their breakfast at the inn, they grabbed their things and then left. Since they had many things to do and figure out before it was too late, they needed to get to the bottom of what was going on in this part of the city.
Nova and the others moved in small groups, blending into the bustling crowds. Their first task: information gathering.
