The sorcerer jumped down, his gray hair shook as the raindrops drenched him. He seemed quite happy, as if he had just had the best entertainment of the year from a theater. His expression showed a genuine delight as well as curiosity, like a person who truly wanted t know what would happen to the end of a tragic story- a story of a brother who have to kill his own sister now.
Cassius had to rush to grab that fucking sorcerer and make him cough the antidote but he couldn't.
If he released Marissa now, who knows where she would go?
If she disappear into the forest- he couldn't let that happen.
Cassius still wanted to believe the idea that he could save his sister. If he brings the antidote, if he administer it to her, and if she returns to her normal state, he could try to heal her wound. It's a chance that was so low but Cassius would rather take that chance than having to end his sister's life to put her out of her misery.
