After so many days of observation, Angelica was finally convinced—Selina was truly dead.
Most of the staff at Sapphire Valley Villa had been dismissed, and Miller Butler now only delivered meals for one. The entire villa was shrouded in a heavy, sorrowful atmosphere.
Angelica could barely contain her excitement. Her face flushed red from holding back laughter—finally!
"Dad, I think Logan has accepted reality. Let's go talk to him."
Joe nodded. "Angelica, once you marry Logan, it'll be a wish fulfilled. I can finally give your mother an answer."
What Joe couldn't understand was why Kyle seemed so lost lately. Selina was dead—so what? It wasn't that big of a deal.
"Angelica, call Logan. Let's go to the Reid Family and talk things through."
Angelica wiped away imaginary tears. "Alright. I'll also make Selina's will public, just like she wanted. I never imagined she cared about me that much…"
Joe, unaware the will was fabricated by Angelica, sighed.
