Chapter 322 - Chapter 322: Satan

With Yamoshi and Namek joining the battle, Mala's defeat was all but certain.

To make matters worse, Namek had torn off one of Mala's arms.

Even without Namek's continued assistance, Mala stood little chance against Yamoshi's relentless iron fists. With her fighting spirit reignited, Yamiru quickly subdued Mala.

Namek casually tossed aside the severed demon arm, his expression grave as he gazed ahead.

"Demon King Samuel... Such immense power... It's on a completely different level compared to Mala!" Even after wandering the cosmos for years, Namek had rarely encountered such a fearsome and malevolent aura.

In his perception, the auras of the other five Demon Kings were even stronger—some far surpassing Samuel's!

How had these Earthlings managed to survive until now?

It was truly unbelievable.

As Namek observed the Earthlings around him—comforting each other, tending to their wounds—ordinary humans, animal-like beings, and even those resembling monsters, he couldn't help but feel a pang of emotion. Sensing the righteous aura nearby, close to Demon King Samuel, he seemed to find his answer.

He had only been passing through, yet now he felt compelled to join them. That beacon-like righteous aura, combined with the resilience of these struggling Earthlings, was undeniably infectious. It wasn't just sympathy; Namek genuinely believed that standing against the evil emanating from the demons was the right thing to do.

He was certain that Yamoshi, too, had stayed on this planet for the same reason.

"Those without a sense of justice would find it hard to survive in an environment like Earth," Yamiru mused, as if sensing Namek's thoughts. Yamiru sighed softly, gazing at the perpetually gloomy sky, which resembled a scene from the apocalypse. "This place is a cesspool of demonic energy. One misstep, and you'll be tainted by it."

Hearing this, Namek was momentarily stunned. Meanwhile, Yamiru, still clad in his demon-dragon form, rushed over to help detoxify others.

"Thank you, thank you..." Those who had been cured by Yamiru repeatedly expressed their gratitude.

"It's nothing. We're all Earthlings, all comrades," Yamiru replied gently.

By now, he had stopped bothering to suppress the demonic energy within him, allowing his demon-dragon appearance to fade. After all, with Samuel's aura growing closer, the journey ahead would only become more perilous, with more demons to face. It was better to remain in his stronger state.

When encountering those who were still severely injured after detoxification, Yamiru glanced at Namek. Understanding the unspoken request, Namek used his magic to heal the wounded.

Thud!

Mala, now battered and bruised with several teeth knocked out, was thrown before the group.

Yamoshi landed gracefully beside everyone.

"What will you do with him?" she asked softly, her tone calm and devoid of any triumph over defeating an enemy.

What to do? Of course, kill him!

The Earthlings were unanimous in their decision.

Eliminating all demons was the sole mantra of every surviving human in this era. When it came to the survival of their race, there was no other option.

Namek remained indifferent, offering no opinion, giving off the vibe of a neutral, benevolent observer.

However, while killing the demon was a given, they could first extract information from him about Demon King Samuel and the human warriors who had previously challenged him. Yamiru proposed this idea, and the other humans quickly agreed.

"What about Lady Annin?"

"And the others? Are they still alive?"

"Is that Demon King really still around?"

The voices of the humans clamored in confusion.

Yamiru stepped forward and asked, "Tell us, what's the situation with Demon King Samuel? You mentioned the humans who went to challenge him earlier. What happened to them? There was a female warrior named Annin—how is she?"

"Heh, as if you..." Mala, despite his battered state, instinctively sneered through his bloodied mouth.

In an instant, Yamiru created a Dodon Ray, Namek's eyes glowed with energy, ready to fire, and Yamoshi sighed softly, crouching down to place a hand on Mala's head... None of them uttered a threat, but their silent demeanor was far more intimidating than any words.

"Lord Samuel is incredibly powerful. I've never seen him go all out, and his most terrifying ability is the toxins she creates..." Mala gulped and began to spill everything. "As for those humans you mentioned... they're probably all dead by now. That Annin... she was poisoned by Lord Samuel's deadly toxin. No matter how strong she is, she won't last much longer..."

Hearing that most of the humans, aside from Annin, had likely perished, the group struggled to contain their grief, their expressions heavy with sorrow.

"Actually, that Annin is not a good person at all!" Mala blurted out quickly. "Think about it! She clearly had power far beyond most of you, yet she still led others to their deaths! Even you here, because of her reputation, rushed over one after another, deliberately coming here to die…"

"Shut up!" "How dare you speak of Lady Annin like that?!" "Despicable demon! You insult Lady Annin and us! You deserve to die!"

The humans erupted in angry rebukes.

Annin… poisoned? Namek and Yamoshi were both struck by the thought, while Yamiru glanced at the dragon-shaped mark on his right wrist, which seemed almost alive. If Demon King Samuel's poison was so potent, could this dragon mark detoxify it? It should be able to, after all, it was created by the Dragon God…

"Confessing so quickly, truly the behavior of a despicable demon—bullying the weak, fearing the strong, and clinging to life…" Someone in the human group sneered disdainfully.

Mala, humiliated and furious, instinctively glared at the speaker, but Yamiru kicked him, knocking his jaw askew.

"Did I say I was done asking?" Yamiru said calmly. "Tell me more about your stronghold. What's the terrain like?"

Mala's head, knocked askew, was kindly straightened by Yamoshi. Trembling, she pleaded, "I've told you everything. Will you let me go?"

Yamiru simply smiled without answering and continued, "What do you know about the other Demon Kings? For example, who is the strongest? How powerful is he?"

"Y-you want to know about… Great Demon King Satan?!" Mala's eyes widened in terror, as if she had heard something unimaginably horrifying. She began thrashing wildly, trying to escape. "No, no… I can't say… I can't…"

Her convulsions were so violent that even Yamoshi was momentarily caught off guard, nearly losing her grip.

"Great Demon King Satan… no… no…"

Mala's face twisted grotesquely, her eyes bulging as if she were hearing unspeakable whispers of demons in her mind.

"Watch out!" Yamiru and Namek shouted in unison.

Yamoshi instinctively trusted them and let go, leaping away.

In an instant, Mala's head swelled to several times its size, and then—Boom!—it exploded, splattering purple demon blood and foul brain matter everywhere.
