Frost clung to his skin, red and raw underneath.
"GHHH…!" Ethan groaned, his body twitching.
Aestrea's hand had just pulled back from his chest, and a green liquid dripped off his fingers, sizzling softly as it hit the icy ground.

Aestrea moved fast, as ice surged from his hand, sealing the deep hole in Ethan's chest like a lid snapping shut.
The green sludge hissed and broke apart into mist, vanishing into the air.
"Heal him," Aestrea said flatly, not even looking at Iris.
Iris instantly nodded, chanting a spell.
