A few minutes later, Kain pulled Anna into a nearby tent, after the meeting with the royals was concluded, and Emo's father dismissed. He was tightening his grip on her wrist while she tried to pull away, struggling until they were inside the tent.
"Let go of me," she snapped, and Kain quickly let her go, sealing the tent's exit with a magic barrier that will prevent anyone from going out, just in case Anna tries to run out of him.
As he let her go, Anna took a few steps backwards, staring at Kain with disdain. Even though he had judged in her favour, it didn't cause her to like him any better.
"You will have to stay in here for the time neen, maybe until Kael returns then we will figure out what to do with you. I can't have you going about spreading false rumours about Sirens that don't exist."
"It exists, please let me explain to you," Anna cut him off. She wished that would just hold on for one second, and even ask how she knew about the Siren.
