July 19th, River Dam.
Only Jiang Ning was in the bedroom.
His uncle Jiang Qitian's loud voice came from the smartphone speaker: "When will you come over for a meal? Your cousins are planning a trip in a few days. They say they're going to Qin Island to see the sea. You should come along, and you won't have to pay a cent."
As soon as he finished speaking, his aunt's warm voice echoed from the phone:
"Right, Ningning, one more person doesn't make a difference. Come join us; the more, the merrier."
Jiang Ning was stunned for a moment. In his previous life, during every trip, his aunt had never invited him, and Shen Qing'e was always included.
Every time the relatives returned from their trips, the cousins and Shen Qing'e would sit in the living room, sharing tales of what they had seen and experienced along the way, the scenery, the food, the culture, how interesting it all was.
