"You're going to explain to me why you late?" I looked up from the dining table to the front door. Benecio was trying to quietly open it up and sneak in but his boots were clanking about it would have been impossible to not hear him.
He let out a sigh and held onto his backpack. His head lowered and I could tell he was trying to come up with a quick lie. "I got delayed at the restaurant. I'm sorry I should have called."
I pressed my lips into a thin line then sighed. At least he was telling the truth. His security called me to inform me therefore I couldn't lose my cool. "Go take a shower and come down. I ordered pizza."
He nodded and just before he could go upstairs he came back, "where's Daniel?"
"Nerd club," I chuckled, "there's some convention or something."
"Ah," he smacked his lips together before going upstairs.
