After the battle with the BlazeFang Wolf, Kent started to see how slight carelessness or, in his case, overconfidence could cost one's life.
The domain he was traversing wasn't as easy as he had thought. It had been five hours since he arrived at Flame Valley and began traversing it, and so far, he had already faced seven flame beasts, each showing him the danger he had found himself in.
He was strong enough to kill them easily, but the survival instinct of the beasts was something he was seeing for the first time.
Kent didn't even know if this was him being paranoid, but he began to wonder whether his idea of traversing the Flame Valley through the core region was a good idea or a bad one.
However, after every kill, the thrill of facing an even more harrowing beast than the one he had already killed overcame his reasoning, causing him to push forward, even going so far as to wish for more harrowing dangers.
