The moment the tour ended, Instructor Varien clapped his hands once, sharp like a gunshot. Everyone snapped to attention even though there wasn't much left to say.
"That's it for now," he declared. "Today is yours. You've seen the school, now get to know it. Spend the rest of the day registering for your courses, joining whatever clubs don't bore you to death, and learning the layout.
"Tomorrow morning, bright and early, all of you will report to Elite Hall 1. Do not be late."
And just like that, the group broke apart. Some were already pulling out their sleek silver badges to start registering for classes.
Others wandered toward the nearest guidance drone floating nearby to ask questions. But Creed?
Creed just stretched his arms, turned his neck left and right with a satisfying crack, and began the slow, kingly walk toward his floating villa.
