Alex did change his mind the next morning; he got up to take a shower when he woke up and found Lynn gone. He had woken up late and she had left his side quietly to take a shower. When she was done, she came into the room to find Alex gone and assumed he had gone to get ready for work, but he came back twenty minutes later dressed casually. "I've changed my mind," he said when he pushed open her door and stood by the open doorway. Lynn was brushing her hair and dropped the brush. She turned to look at him. "Realy? she asked and Alex nodded. "I've thought about it and I see no reason why I shouldn't go. I might leave fast, but I just want to make sure everything is good" he gave a suitable explanation that Lynn didn't think was necessary. She was simply happy to know that he wanted to come along.
