Alora turned to her group and said with a commanding tone, "Let's go."
Xu Ying did not move but the rest of them immediately walked to the elevator. It wasn't because they had suddenly gained respect for Alora, it was simply because Alora held the key to the heaven gate that would lead them home.
"Oh, Xu Ying, feel free to tag along. It's the least I can do to thank you for presenting me with this opportunity," Alora said without turning to see Xu Ying's expression.
She seemed particularly tall at this moment, standing shoulder to shoulder with Xu Ying. She had always been tall, but her lack of power made her seek smaller than Xu Ying.
"Humph!" Xu Ying scoffed. Alora walked away and headed straight for the elevator. Xu Ying was so annoyed that he didn't even feel like staying in the same elevator with her.
"Go with her, whatever nonsense you want to play, do that in heaven," Kael said with a stern tone.
Xu Ying sighed, then turned around and walked into the elevator.
