So if he were to use more mana for the magic spell, the power is the same as rank 2 magic spell and there was no need for him to learn other magic spells.
Considering that Ruben was already busy because of Riya to learn various runes and formation, Riya also didn't want Ruben to learn too many magic spells. At least, he learned three types of dark element magic spells to protect, attack, and to stop the enemies.
This would help him to protect himself.
