Once I focus on the screen again, I take one of my spider robots and place it on the ground before activating it. I had already encoded its purpose into it, so the moment it activates, it runs off, it's at that moment I notice, a warning pop up on the screen, seeing it I realize that the cybermen have begun their plan, now time to screw with them using my mechanical force and basic coding skills I start to slow them down.
While doing so I took a phone I had got during the week I was waiting for the Doctor to arrive before calling Jackie, and it did not take long for her to answer" Give the phone to the Doctor" I quickly heard the shouting of the head at Torchwood to stop the ghost shift before I hear the Doctors voice" what up kind busy here" I laugh before speaking" I know I am doing my best to slow them, but unfortunately I can't stop it by mechanical force helps but it's not a replacement for actual skill, so be prepared for what's coming yea, rose is in the sphere chamber by the way most likely got caught too. "
"Right, what are you going to do? Then, once whatever is trying to open the breach is here," I think for a moment, staying here is not an option. The cybermen who search the entire building for those they can upgrade into themselves, most likely try to make my way to your location, hopefully without being seen"
After he heard my plan he just said ok, before hanging up, throughout the conversation I had been still doing my work with the cybermen trying to slow their arrival, unfortunately I am not a coding expert, I handle machines, and never got interested in coding during my training just the machines themselves, probably a good idea to learn it, the issue falls that I will not be able to learn Gallifreyan coding until the time of the 12th incarnation of the Doctor, meaning settling for earth coding will have to do,
After focusing on the screen, I see that they have almost achieved their goal, so I stop fighting them, get up, ready to leave. Walking to the door, I unlock it before exiting the room. When I was outside, I started to make my way towards the command room, which just so happened to be on this floor. Of course, I stayed hidden throughout my journey as I approached. I can hear the Doctor asking about the sphere.
As I reach the door, I wait for the inevitable arrival of Pete's group to arrive. I did not have to wait long, as I heard explosions shortly after I started to wait. Once I heard the doctor talk to one of them, I made my entrance.
Seeing me, the members pointed their guns at me," Hey, calm down, I am a friend" Seeing me say this, they still did not put their weapons down. The Doctor, seeing this, started to introduce me," Calm down, this is the Mechanic" They looked at me, wired, before one of them stepped forward", So there two of you now, ay Doc" I laughed at his remark before speaking" we are of the same species of that's what you're referring to but not of the same ideology, I love to tinker with machines while he likes to run around saving the world, big difference. I help now and again, but I don't actively search for trouble like he does, not that it helps, though, his tendency to run into trouble seems to have rubbed off on me" I get a good laugh from the humans from Pete's world.
I speak once more after they stop laughing, " I believe your leader will want to speak to the Doctor" That reminds me, I look at the doctor and speak again" Doctor, where's Jackie?" his face goes solemn my words before speaking " the cybermen took her" hearing him I sign I remember back to when I was in the office I wanted to make sure things go in the Doctors favor, I am well aware that this is no longer a fantasy meaning stuff may not happen according to the show, so I made sure to have some insurance, a spider robot similar to the ones I used back on satellite thirteen, which would send her directly to my TARDIS if she were in any danger.
I also made sure to let Ada know, otherwise, god knows what my TARDIS might do if an uninvited guest entered, as I was thinking the Doctor looked at me seriously," We have other problems, there are Daleks here" Hearing him, I remember how they discovered the Daleks in the show before I can reply Pete's teamwork up to the doctor before taking out the dimension jumper they use to get to this reality.
Seeing this, I say" I will stay here, and try to keep the cybermen out of this area, while also getting into the database to discover anything useful to us" Hearing me, the leader of the team nods before putting the dimension jumper around the Doctor's neck and hitting the button.
Seeing them disappear I move to the computers in the area behind the glass, heading directly to the computer, once seated I start to go through the information in the database, as I do I take a USB from my pocket, putting it into the USB port of the computer before copying everything from the database.
As for why I am doing this it is because despite watching the show, a lot there are still things missing from what I know, I also want to make sure that I am not in their database but now is not the time to go through it so after I copy it all I will erase everything I will not risk it,
After I have finished, I hear the same sound that was made when the doctor went to Pete's world, looking up, I notice that Pete is with them this time "Well, what are we looking at, from what I know of breaches it can't be good right" hearing me the Doctor looks at me before speaking" we need to close the breach and fast the longer we leave it open the worse the side effects get" I nod before looking at Pete than back at the Doctor before pulling out my phone and tossing it to him.
He looks at me as if to say, "You knew I was going to ask for it, right?". Once he has the phone, he instantly dials Jackie's number. It does not take long for there to be an answer, thus starts the conversation about where she was, I have to say Jackie is horrible at observation it took her a couple of minutes just to find the massive letters that told her which stairwell she was at, and to my surprise it's the same one from the tv show northern stairwell 3.
After having his answer, he hangs up, looking at me," I found nothing of interest. I took the liberty of deleting everything. Can't have them repeating this, or someone trying to copy it" This was the reason I gave for deleting everything, although it's not exactly wrong having someone repeat this whole incident was something I want to avoid.
I look at Pete before speaking," I suggest you do the same when you get back. Creating or using a breach is not good, however, I suggest keeping some of those dimensional jumpers just in case another alternative universe attempts something like this" Pete just nods at my words.
After I was finished with my warnings I let the Doctor take the lead, I can see he agreed with me telling Pete to delete everything on the breach, however was not happy about me telling them to keep some of the jumpers till I mentioned about other alternate realities possibility of attempting something like what Torchwood did, since my caution was warranted, he was well aware of how humanity was so ignorant of the consequences that they do anything and everything they can to advance themselves or even just to prove themselves superior.
After creating a plan, which I must add is a bad plan, especially if the Cult of Skaro has a way to detect my mechanical force, even if I did not use it, a funny thing is neither the Daleks nor the Cybermen is mechanical life. Meaning my ability works on them, and this means I have a way to stop either from using their weaponry, the issue falls with the amount I can control at once if I was much older then maybe I could just walk into the sphere room and end thing there, but at the moment the best I can do is 2 Daleks at a time and 20 cybermen, this is because of the difference in tech if given enough time the cybermen may reach a more advanced level making them harder to control but these are equivalent to a newborn.
Of course, the Doctor's plan consists of us surrendering to the Cybermen and making a deal with them to help get rid of the Dalek, but it's nothing more than a way to get Rose and Mickie out of the sphere room before heading to meet up with Jackie.
So that's exactly what I do, and of course, the white flack is just an A4 piece of paper attached to a ruler, like come on, I could have built something, but the Doctor insisted that it be this way. Sometimes I think the council was right, the Doctor is a madman.
Making our way through the corridors until we come across the Cybermen, the Doctor flashes his DIY surrender flag around the corner before stepping out, yelling, We surrender, The Cybermen, of course, ask for confirmation, not sure why it should be able to hear his words.
Once the confirmation is given the Doctor mentions he has a plan that will help deal with the Daleks, hearing him the Cybermen ask him to continue, and the doctor does just that going over his plan, not sure why he wants to go in first when he could just storm the room but I guess he has a flare for the dramatic considering he plans to use the same line from the episode about his screwdriver being very good at opening doors.
With the plan given the green light by the Cyber commander, the Doctor makes the adjustments to the weapons that Pete's team brought with them before handing a few to the Cybermen. Once done, we all head directly to the entrance of the Sphere room.
Once we arrive, the last-minute checks are done by everyone, including the Cybermen. When everyone confirms they are ready, the Doctor enters the room. We can not exactly hear what's going on, but once the signal is given, we blast our way in.
No one says anything and begins shooting while the Doctor grabs Rose, pulling her away from the action. Mickie follows not far behind, however, just like in the episode, he is knocked by a cyberman, causing his hand to touch the ark. Quickly gathering himself, he runs to the door just as the cybermen start to fall to the Dalek who had restored themselves.
Once everyone was out, we bolted. Luckily, the Cybermen were the only ones to suffer casualties, while we were running, I guided everyone through the hallways, making our way to stairwell 3, to where Jakie is.
It does not take us long to arrive and believe me, watching the scene between Jackie and Pete was awkward as hell, but hey, he eventually decides to take Jackie back with him. In the end, it's all good.
After the reunion, we head in the direction of the storage. When we arrive, we see the Daleks fighting the Cybermen, trying to get the Ark to a much larger space. The Doctor runs towards a box, retrieving the clamps that he used in the episode. Once he has them, he takes one last look at his old-looking 3d glasses. Well, they're not exactly that, but they look that way to normal people.
Once he was done, we made our way to the control room on the top floor. Luckily, the elevator was still working, otherwise, we would have had to make our way there via the stairs. When we arrived, both the Doctor and I headed directly to the window before looking out to see what the ark was, I already knew, but if I suddenly said that it would be strange.
Watching the ark open up, releasing millions of Daleks, is so different from seeing it on a screen. Pete, seeing this from behind us, says this world is doomed and that they must go. Putting a jumper on, Jackie Rose starts to argue that she wants to stay with the Doctor to close the breach, but behind her, the Doctor puts a jumper on her, seeing this, Pete activates his taking everyone, including Rose, back to his world.
Both the Doctor and I start our work getting the whole process of sending the Daleks to hell alongside the Cybermen. As we were doing, the unmistakable sound of the jumper. Looking up sees Rose had come back.
Just like her mother, she gives the Doctor a right telling off before he reluctantly agrees for her to stay, as the whole process starts. The Daleks, realizing what we are doing, try to stop the whole thing. Unfortunately for them, it's too late; the breach is open, and it starts pulling them in. Seeing this, the members of the Cult of Skaro activate an emergency temporal shift, disappearing from where they were.
Rose had chosen to man one of the leavers while the doctor was on the other. I was to make sure that nothing could get close to the unfortunately, the lever on Rose's side started to spark and move, attempting to pull it back to maximum, her hand lost grip and she began to be pulled into the void before she hit the breach though Pete appears taking her back to his world just as the breach is fully closed.
I look at the Doctor, only to see him run directly to the wall where the breach was and start screaming. I walk to him and try to comfort him. Once he has settled down, we head back to his TARDIS. Once there, he takes me back to mine, before attaching it to the shield, it's time to say goodbye.
The Doctor takes us to the same place he went during the episode using the star as a fuel source, to send his goodbye, my TARDIS also does the same I should at least say my goodbye, I had already received the result from my experiment, as it turns out my mechanical force can travel through the void just that it will decay over time meaning it has the field needs a constant supply, making it not viable, as just in the few milliseconds of entering the void had drain more than ¾ of the entire batterie, and that's just for one person multiple would need a much larger batterie, not worth it sorry Rose but maintaining such a batterie currently is impossible, I may be able to do it in the future but not now.
I finish my thoughts as My TARDIS lets me know we are ready. Activating the communicator, I slowly see a holographic beach with the Doctor and Rose talking, so I speak, "Looks like I am late to the party" They all look at me "Hey, how are you holding up?" Hearing me, Rose pulls something from her pocket.
Seeing it, I sigh, since it's the spider robot I sent to her" I wanted to see if there was a way to bring you back, unfortunately, my test failed. I do not possess the capability to safely bring you back without you being influenced by the void" the hope that the Doctor had in his eyes when I said my first words left shortly after I said my results out loud even if said results were a lie I could bring her back but I risk the Doctor not meeting Martha.
After talking for a bit I noticed the Doctor starts to fade I on the other hand had a few more minutes as I was using my mechanical force to last longer, since the doctor was gone I decided to inform Rose that she would meet him again, she was surprised at that asking how but I did a classic River song saying a single word Spoilers, before I disappear.
