A few days passed as I wrapped up my work at the company and caught up with Jubilee and the other X-Men.
Within my ring world, I tried to refine the small portion of cosmic Phoenix Force Jean gave me. The fragment had sentience but was disconnected from the whole, causing it to riot. My soul power only strengthened it, and using heavenly energy caused a slow counterbalance. Eventually, I manipulated creation energy, stripping its sentience and calming the riot, making refinement easy.
It became pure destruction, chaos, life, and death law energy, which I absorbed into myself and my inner universe, accelerating my growth. The vast life force merged with me, even though I possess a leakless divine body. Using this structure, I condensed Phoenix fire, adding divine laws for more potential. Beyond a certain point—around 20 laws—the fire started destabilizing, so I maintained it at that threshold for study. It requires emperor-level cultivation to even withstand it.
Being inside the ring world, cosmic awareness didn't activate. However, during my downtime, I had studied cosmic energy, an omnipresent force woven into the fabric of the Marvel multiverse and beyond. LoHP helped me analyze its vast potential—it can be bent to any will if one has deep enough understanding of multiversal laws. Up until now, I'd primarily relied on my own powers to interact with mutant abilities, but stepping outside the ring world opened new possibilities.
My body transformed into astral form, and I realized how mutants tap into cosmic energy through their genes. I replicated this process, absorbing the cosmic energy, filling my astral body until it brimmed with power and my cosmic awareness awoke.
This awareness is like attuning your mind to an ever present and infinite divine sense, but few can truly grasp it. Suddenly, I could perceive the entirety of my current universe, its infinite parallel realities, and the infinite timelines branching out of each reality. I could feel the multiverse in its raw form. Some individuals—like Odin of current universe—became aware of my observation, his senses momentarily startled but can't find the source.
To cloak myself further, I severed connections to causality, fate, divination, and perception, creating a shield as I extended my awareness even further. In this expanded state, I encountered dimensions, deities, and cosmic entities: the Vishanti, Chthon, Dormammu, Celestials, universe avatars of Eternity, Death, Oblivion, and Galactus. I feel I could do a better work in shielding, and I instinctively knew the answer. I channeled the cosmic energy I had absorbed into creation energy, purging its sentience and uniqueness. This is the problem of using borrowed power. Recreated by my hand, it became mine to use freely, and I no longer needed shields. My presence, even as a cosmic energy wielder, became untraceable.
Reaching out again, beyond my singular universe, I sensed the original presence of avatars of multiversal beings I had encountered before, along with the Living Tribunal and Protégé. It's easy to get lost in this vast perception, but I maintained control. I saw Earth-616, and even glimpsed Yggdrasil, feeling as though I could teleport there with a mere thought.
The knowledge I've gained today dwarfs all my previous discoveries. From future timelines, I absorbed scientific breakthroughs, advanced technology, and multiversal truths. It's a gigantic flood of information, and the only reason I haven't lost myself in it is my true God-level existence, LoHP and the Sage Mind I possess, now enhanced to an unimaginable degree.
I also observed magic, its actual existence is like a flaw made in the perfect creation of multiverse. These flaws create their own set of principles for manipulation of this low-grade energy. This awareness is truly a overachieving ability. It is easy to attain power in this universe as I could be considered as a nigh omnipotent, nigh-omniscient, omni lock entity. Pity, I can only use it in this universe as it is not my own power.
Anyway, with this, the last mutant Katherine Pride, a.k.a kitty pride I was looking for, was found. She has not yet activated her power. By the looks of she will activate it next year. So, I just teleported to her place in invisibility. And used my life divine dao ability to force life force into her and tried to activate and it did. She was in a pain with the outburst and her ability phasing manifested surprisingly startling her parents.
I then used power augmentation on her as a gift for her to reach maturity of her power quickly as possible since it was my own selfish reasons. I also healed her pain by numbing her nerves.
Half a day later, I knocked on their door with a smile, convincing her parents—using a combination of telepathy and Xavier's patented charm—about the necessity of training her powers at Xavier's Institute. I also made sure to handle the logistics, buying all the daily essentials she would need for her stay. The next day, after she had made her preparations, we arrived at the Institute, and she quickly integrated with the other mutants.
Meanwhile, Jean had grown even stronger. Her Phoenix powers had increased, and she had taken a vested interest in enhancing the mutant abilities of those at Xavier's school. She had also begun showing interest in my company, planning to involve mutants in various capacities after their graduation. A few more days passed without incident.
After a family dinner with the Greys, I stepped outside, feeling the cool night air. Jean silently followed me.
"Hmm. Before I go, there are a few things you should know," I said, turning to her.
Raising my hand, I used my Great Expanse ability to create a simulation of our reality, blending in elements of reality tampering to make the variables indistinguishable from the original. In this simulation, Jean witnessed different timelines and realities—variants of herself across the multiverse, living through good times, bad times, and everything in between. She saw endless possibilities, some hopeful, others tragic.
"If you ever travel the multiverse, make sure you've gathered enough strength," I warned. "Once I leave, this timeline might reset if some higher beings came to check in, or it could create a new reality. I've already erased my identity from this world as we speak. Even if you travel back in time, I won't exist. Only you will remember me."
Jean's eyes widened, understanding the gravity of my words. Unlike her, I don't feel any lose nor sadness, maybe it's due to the feeling of omniscience I feel now.
A star-shaped portal opened behind me, the soft hum of its energy filling the night. I gave her one last look." Goodbye."
" Goodbye brother" her voice remained in the night sky as I stepped through the portal, leaving the X-Men world behind.
During the years of seclusion, I decided my next stop would be the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Earth-616.
A portal opened in the clouds above earth and went unnoticed by many. I emerged in my true form. The battlefield below is chaotic and apocalyptic. I was already shielded from perception and fate. The skies are dark, filled with debris and smoke from the ongoing battle. Heroes and armies clash, with Thanos unleashing devastation. The ruins of the Avengers HQ and the scattered forces paint a bleak scene of destruction.
Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man lead the charge, with Captain wielding Mjolnir in a desperate fight against Thanos. Meanwhile, the other Avengers return through portals with reinforcements. Thanos gains the upper hand, seizing the Infinity Gauntlet. In a final act, Iron Man covertly takes the Infinity Stones and, locking eyes with Thanos, snaps his fingers. After Iron Man's snap, the battlefield slowly becomes eerily quiet. Thanos' forces begin to disintegrate into dust, and the chaotic fighting ceases. The air feels lighter, almost peaceful, as the massive battle ends with Iron Man's victory, though at the cost of his life.
As everyone was in reverence of his sacrifice, I appeared Infront of the fallen man. A law field covering me. I did nothing but just stood there witnessing his final breath. Captain Marvel, impulsive as always, struck me, mistaking me for an enemy. Seeing nothing happened others also tensed. She secretly collected power stone and attacked me with it enhancing her power. It also did nothing other than to blow some air as it got negated on contact with my shields law field.
Giving no attention to it without even turning my eyes, I sensed Iron man's soul disintegrating. So, I copied it and didn't take the original to attract any attention from any entity. I also collected his biological memory as mortal souls often doesn't have the capacity to withhold every information. Then, as quietly as I had come, I vanished.
