In the Netherworld.
The charming and adorable Sparkle lay quietly in her coffin, with no breath, heartbeat, or pulse—indistinguishable from the truly deceased.
Perhaps Sparkle indeed had passed away.
Yet at that moment, she could still perceive movements outside, though unable to stir herself.
How much longer must I maintain this state of death?
Ah, being a follower of the God of Entertainment has its downsides; one never knows when they might become someone else's amusement.
Sampo sighed, "I warned her multiple times, but she wouldn't listen."
Su Jinyan, astonished, asked, "Sampo, considering all the mischief she caused by impersonating you, aren't you angry?"
Sampo gritted his teeth, "Not angry? How could I not be angry?! This isn't the first time she played such tasteless jokes either. I've always tried to keep my distance from her."
"Still, Sparkle was quite popular at the inn."
"I myself interacted with her a few times before, so we were sort of friends, maybe?"
"Witnessing her demise like this does sadden me somewhat."
Su Jinyan shook his head, "Who said she's truly dead?"
Sampo chuckled, "Her heartbeat, breathing, and pulse have completely stopped."
"Moreover, I can't sense any signs of life from her body," added Su Jinyan.
He roughly pried open Sparkle's warm lips, inserting two fingers and stirring them around briefly.
"See? Her mouth is still warm."
Sampo shrugged, "What does that prove?"
Sparkle internally screamed, "Stop it! You bastard, what are you doing?"
Su Jinyan pondered aloud, "Well, she's still warm..."
Sparkle was incredulous, "Are you seriously thinking about...? Are you even human anymore?"
Surely Little Su wouldn't go so far, right?
The look in Sampo's eyes towards Su Jinyan drastically changed, causing him to recoil several steps in shock.
How terrifying! Does this guy Su Jinyan have no moral boundaries at all?
Sampo began contemplating whether he should distance himself from Su Jinyan entirely.
Unfazed, Su Jinyan calmly withdrew his fingers and wiped away Sparkle's saliva with a handkerchief.
"I was just joking; did you really need to get so scared?"
Sampo complained, "Mate, those kinds of tasteless jokes aren't funny."
To Su Jinyan's surprise, old Sampo seemed quite decent, showing similar respect for moral boundaries as himself.
Sampo's words held truth; respect for the deceased was paramount. Since she had already passed away, there was no need to further insult her.
Su Jinyan solemnly stated, "Regardless of anything else, respect for the deceased comes first."
"Considering we were both Masked Fools, I intend to give her a funeral befitting her status."
Sampo's gaze sharpened. "You want a grand funeral ceremony?"
"And then invite numerous guests, raking in substantial condolence money?" Sparkle added silently.
Smiling, Su Jinyan replied, "Exactly, you understand me well. This is what I call 'making use of waste.'"
Sparkle remained speechless.
Rubbing his fingers together, Sampo suppressed his anger and rebuked him, "I say, old chap, what do you mean by 'making use of waste'?
"That's going too far! How dare you malign a deceased person like this!"
Su Jinyan glanced at him, unfazed. "Hush money—let's split it fifty-fifty."
Sampo's face lit up with delight. "Not bad, my friend, that's precisely how it should be done."
"Her death warrants a full half-day of mourning across Luofu," Sampo declared.
Su Jinyan slightly shook his head, somewhat dismissive. "A half-day is excessive, remember, it's about making use of waste."
"It's already impressive if we can squeeze more Credits out of this guy."
Exploiting someone and then belittling them? You're truly quite unlikable!
Sparkle clenched her teeth; if she could move at that moment, she would have jumped up to confront Su Jinyan.
Sampo pondered for a moment. "That's not entirely wrong, but shouldn't she have some identity for the funeral?"
"If you say she was just a fool, seeking amusement by stirring chaos everywhere..."
"People might be grateful not to spit on her memory," Sampo replied.
Su Jinyan feigned deep sorrow. "Exactly, she was my distant cousin, Sparkle."
"To see me, she traveled far only to meet her untimely demise at the hands of the Masked Fools." With these words, Su Jinyan abruptly leaned over and rubbed his face against Sparkle's chest, letting two streams of tears flow down.
"Waaahh, Cousin, what a tragic end you've met, oh Cousin~"
Get your cheek off her body, damn it! Taking advantage even of the dead—don't you think that's going too far?
Su Jinyan looked back, startled. "Seems like there's still some good stuff here. I feel tempted to indulge one last time before the burial."
Sparkle stared incredulously.
Sampo couldn't hold back any longer. "You've gone far enough."
Following Su Jinyan's instructions, the Aurumaton Spectral Envoys swiftly sprang into action with remarkable efficiency. In no time at all, the Netherworld was transformed into a floral-filled memorial hall.
A pair of mourning scrolls hung before it, inscribed with the words: "In memories past, recalling thy graceful candor; today, thy compassionate visage fades, leaving only a slanting shadow of plum blossoms."
Atop the altar within the memorial hall, Sparkle's photograph was prominently displayed. The image captured her charming and endearing demeanor, preserving both her voice and radiant smile as if they lingered still.
As fellow Fools, Su Jinyan held deep respect for Sparkle. To ensure she departed this world without pain, smiling until the end, he decided to make the funeral grand.
He extended invitations widely, not just to friends and relatives on Xianzhou Luofu but also to members of the Stellaron Hunters. This gesture had nothing to do with amassing more condolence gifts.
Among the customs of the immortal cultivators, there were no traditional funerals. When their time came, upon the brink of succumbing to Mara, individuals would be escorted by envoys from the Ten-Lords Commission back to the Netherworld, where they would pass away peacefully.
Su Jinyan once suspected that Sparkle might have been feigning death. Thus, he planned to test how much suffering she could endure. Ideally, he hoped to turn this Masked Fool, Sparkle, to his own advantage.
Huohuo, panting heavily, ran over. "Uh, Magistrate Su," she began hesitantly.
"I managed to purchase the limited edition Sparkling Bean Juice with Stinky Tofu flavor you requested."
"However, I could only get three bottles..."
Su Jinyan gently stroked Huohuo's soft fox ears. "That's plenty, thank you, Huohuo."
Huohuo pursed her lips, feeling slightly embarrassed. After a moment of hesitation, she tried to comfort him, saying, "Magistrate Su."
Su Jinyan took the soda bean juice and corrected her, "Call me Uncle."
Obediently, Huohuo changed her address, "Uncle Su... People cannot be brought back from death; please don't grieve too deeply."
Slowly turning away, Su Jinyan's shoulders began to visibly tremble uncontrollably.
After a pause, he spoke with a quivering voice, "Thank you, Huohuo."
Worry clouded Huohuo's small face. It seemed that the woman lying in the coffin was truly significant to Uncle Su. Rumor had it that she was his distant cousin, Sparkle, who had finally made the difficult journey to visit Luofu only to meet such a tragic fate.
Tail, observing skeptically, whispered, "Huohuo, why do I feel like that guy is trying not to laugh?"
Huohuo scolded him indignantly, "Tail, you mustn't speak ill of Uncle Su. He always brings us joy while keeping his sorrows to himself." Sighing, she added, "For some reason, seeing Uncle Su like this makes my heart ache as well..."
Tail retorted with dissatisfaction, "Tsk, you little fool, I swear he's just suppressing a laugh."
Approaching the coffin, Su Jinyan fought back his amusement and unscrewed the cap of a soda bean juice bottle.
"Cousin, this was your favorite drink from Xianzhou—soda bean juice," he said. "At first, Cousin considered burning it for you, fearing you wouldn't be able to taste it anymore. But instead, let me pour it down your throat, my dear cousin. May your journey be peaceful."
"No, Little Su, don't do this! Karma will strike!"
Wake up, my body, hurry and wake up.
Damned God of Entertainment, what have you done?
Struggling against Su Jinyan would be utterly futile. Moreover, Sparkle couldn't even move, leaving her completely helpless, at the mercy of others.
Brutally prying open Sparkle's reddened lips, Su Jinyan poured the entire bottle of soda bean juice into her mouth.
Soda bean juice, fermented from soy products, had a pungent sour smell yet offered a refreshing, cool taste—one that tempted further consumption once tasted.
With a gentle expression, Su Jinyan wiped the corners of Sparkle's mouth.
"Dear cousin, would you like more?"
No, I truly don't want any more, please spare me!
Sparkle felt weak, pitiful, and utterly helpless. At that moment, she deeply cursed herself for having taste buds at all.
The sour and foul-smelling soda bean juice spread across her lips like swill.
Wahh, I'll definitely make her pay for this.
Su Jinyan sighed, "True, you can't even speak anymore."
"Let me pour these remaining two bottles of soda bean juice down your throat as well."
Sparkle stared incredulously.
Glug, glug, glug—
Two more bottles of soda bean juice were force-fed to her.
Old Sampo, somewhat curious, asked, "My friend, is this soda bean juice really tasty?"
Su Jinyan glanced at the remnants in the bottle. "Why don't you try it yourself?"
Caught off guard, Old Sampo found himself swiftly drenched with the leftover soda bean juice by Su Jinyan.
Sampo choked, his face turning pale, repeatedly retching.
"Gag! Is this f*cking stuff meant for humans to drink?"
Seeing Sampo's intense reaction, Su Jinyan felt relieved; Sparkle must truly be dead now.
If she could endure that, I'd genuinely admire her resilience.
Soon, guests began arriving one after another to mourn the passing of Su Jinyan's cousin, Sparkle.
Standing before the memorial hall, Su Jinyan bowed deeply to the assembled mourners.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I am truly grateful for your presence today at my cousin's funeral."
"My cousin always loved lively gatherings, and seeing so many people here, she would undoubtedly have been overjoyed."
Sampo held Sparkle's portrait, silently grieving.
In front of all these people, he feared he might burst out laughing.
Silver Wolf inquired, "Kafka, did you know her? When did A-Yan acquire a cousin?"
Kafka chuckled softly, "I don't know her, but I can assure you, A-Yan's sorrow is feigned."
"You could easily pretend to be unaware and comfort him," she suggested.
"It's a perfect opportunity to improve your favorability with him, you know~"
Silver Wolf turned away, dismissing the idea, "What favorability? That sort of thing doesn't matter."
"We're just very good friends; don't misunderstand," he added hastily.
Su Jinyan glanced around at everyone and said, "Just as these smiling faces in the photo show."
"My cousin, ah, she always detested sadness."
"She loved seeking joy more than anything during her lifetime."
"Even though she has passed, I want her to depart with a smile, ensuring a joyful farewell."
"So, I kindly request all of you to bid her goodbye with smiles on your faces, if possible?"
Sparkle exclaimed indignantly, "@#¥%!"
Jing Yuan sighed deeply, quoting a proverb, "Some people may still live, yet they have already died within.
"Some people may die, yet their spirit continues to live on."
"Yanqing, observe this—Minister Su employs different tactics for different individuals."
"After this incident, regardless if Sparkle survives physically, socially, she will be dead."
The tale of Masked Fools coming to Xianzhou for amusement only to become the joke themselves would undoubtedly spread throughout the Fool's Inn.
Regardless of whether Sparkle lived or died, her story would become fodder for laughter at the inn.
Jing Yuan eagerly anticipated what further audacious moves Su Jinyan might pull next, enough to make one's vision go dark with shock.
Su Jinyan waved Silver Wolf over. "Honey, could you please come here?"
With a puzzled expression on her charming face, Silver Wolf approached Su Jinyan only to be immediately embraced around her snow-white waist.
"What are you doing? There are so many people watching; can't you be more mindful?" Blushing, she gently pushed against Su Jinyan.
Naturally, she didn't forget to shoot Fu Xuan a provocative glance from below the stage.
Just who is standing beside A-Yan now?
Fu Xuan remained unfazed; Silver Wolf was still too childish, unworthy of her attention.
This venerable one is not only A-Yan's shizun but also his fiancée. As for you, you're merely a friend—what right do you have to provoke this venerable one?
Su Jinyan's expression turned serious. "Later this year, my collaboration with Silver Wolf will introduce a massively multiplayer turn-based strategic card game called 'Three Kingdoms Killer' onto the Interstellar Network gaming platform."
"I aim to promote Xianzhou's traditional culture while integrating elements from Punklorde's heritage."
"The partnership between Xianzhou and Punklorde promises exciting developments in both our gaming communities. I hope everyone will keep a close eye on this project."
Silver Wolf hastily nodded. "Mm-hmm, definitely keep an eye out."
In a hushed voice, Su Jinyan whispered, "Darling, I've already instructed Little Gui to record this scene beforehand."
"How's that? Am I not good to you?"
Who promotes their projects at a memorial service? Can't we show some respect for the deceased?
Where is the moral compass? Where are the boundaries?
However, from Sparkle's perspective, it was simply... too entertaining!
Little Su certainly knew how to cater to her tastes.
If only she could move or make sounds—if she could, without a doubt, she would have leaped up from the coffin to applaud Su Jinyan.
Silver Wolf murmured softly, "It's all well and good, but aren't we being somewhat disrespectful to the deceased?"
Su Jinyan waved his hand dismissively. "Even Sparkle herself hasn't complained; why are you so concerned?"
Silver Wolf fell silent, as did Sparkle.
Well...
Indeed, she hadn't said anything...
Sampo cleared his throat and stepped forward, addressing the crowd. "Ladies and gentlemen, considering everyone still has the banquet ahead, for your convenience and efficiency of proceedings, we will place the coffin on a conveyor belt for transportation."
"Please follow the conveyor belt to pay your final respects to the departed!"
Su Jinyan clapped his hands, and instantly, the golden statue Reapers lifted Sparkle's coffin onto the conveyor belt.
Sparkle silently lamented as her body was bid farewell on this conveyor belt. Just who came up with such a genius idea?
In a solemn tone, Su Jinyan announced, "The conveyor belt extends from the Netherworld's memorial hall all the way to the crematorium set up at Fyxestroll Garden."
"After everyone pays their respects, my cousin's remains will be transported to the crematorium for cremation."
"Following that, my cousin will automatically turn to ashes, be placed into a star ferry, and released into the sky."
"I also request that none of you obstruct the process, so as not to hinder the deceased's urgent desire for cremation."
Everyone fell silent, speechless.
Sushang couldn't help but exclaim, "How romantic!"
Romantic?! What's romantic about this? Is there something wrong with your little head, young lady?!
It wasn't that Sparkle hadn't imagined her eventual passing someday. However, she absolutely could not accept leaving in such humiliating circumstances.
Guinaifen chimed in sarcastically, "What's romantic about any of this?"
Sushang's small face turned serious. "Anything Jinyan-gege comes up with is inherently very romantic."
Guinaifen shook her head with exasperation, "Your whole life has been ruined by your Jinyan-gege."
"There's no competition here; can't you just stop trying to outdo others?"
Su Jinyan was immensely pleased with himself. His plan boasted unparalleled efficiency—a one-stop service from eulogies and performances to cremation.
Even Teyvat's Rebirth Hall couldn't match this level of expediency.
With a press of a button, the conveyor belt hummed to life, slowly starting its motion.
Sampo wiped away crocodile tears, "Oh, Sparkle..."
"I, old Sampo, practically watched you grow up."
Sparkle raised an eyebrow.
Su Jinyan chimed in, "Nurtured you with both words and care."
Sparkle remained puzzled.
Sampo continued, "Now I must bid farewell to my child before me, truly, it is so..."
Before he could finish, Sparkle's coffin had already drifted far along the conveyor belt.
Guinaifen hastily reminded him, "Hey, Mr. Sampo, you forgot to place flowers!"
"This is an outlander's funeral; we need to offer flowers as a final goodbye."
"Darn it," Sampo lamented, "How could old Sampo forget something like that?"
Su Jinyan, with a serious expression, reassured him, "No worries, let me accompany Cousin on her journey for old Sampo."
As she spoke, Su Jinyan picked up two small pink daisies and swiftly ran towards the distant coffin.
"Rest in peace, dear cousin!"
Unexpectedly, just as she approached the coffin, Su Jinyan seemed to lose her footing. With a stumble, she abruptly fell forward onto it.
Plop!
The two pink daisies inadvertently landed on Sparkle's eyes.
"Ugh..."
Tears silently streamed down Sparkle's face.
How am I supposed to rest in peace now? Little Su, even as a ghost, I won't let you off.
Panicking, Su Jinyan shouted, "Little Gui, quick, help me fix the flowers properly."
Guinaifen patted her chest confidently, assuring, "No problem, leave it to me—you can trust Little Gui."
The coffin slowly drifted towards Guinaifen.
Her bright eyes sparkled as she plucked out the two pink daisies, swiftly inserted them into Sparkle's mouth, and gently closed her lips around them.
"A-Yan's cousin is my Little Gui's cousin too."
"Cousin, may your journey be peaceful," Guinaifen said with pride, feeling accomplished for doing another good deed.
Sparkle stared incredulously:
Even as a ghost, I'll never forgive you both!
Sushang anxiously exclaimed, "Wrong, wrong! Little Gui, you placed the flowers in the wrong spot!"
As they watched the coffin move further away on the conveyor belt, Sushang hastily rushed to Sparkle's casket.
To facilitate farewells, this coffin had a unique design. A small rectangular opening at the top allowed mourners to glimpse the deceased's face.
In her haste, Sushang grabbed the pink daisies and yanked upwards.
Bang!
With a crisp sound, Sparkle's head made intimate contact with the coffin lid.
Sparkle was momentarily speechless.
Sushang scratched her head, puzzled as to why she couldn't pull the flowers out.
Bang!
Once again, Sparkle's head collided with the coffin lid.
"Ouch, that hurts!" Tears welled up in Sparkle's beautiful eyes.
Sushang rubbed her hands together and blew on them, muttering, "Dammit, don't underestimate my strength."
Bang!
Finally, Sushang managed to extract the two pink daisies. Unfortunately, due to her excessive force, Sparkle's head not only shattered the upper lid but also caused her to sit bolt upright within the coffin.
"Agh, help me, Jinyan-gege! My cousin has turned into a walking corpse!"
Sushang stumbled and scrambled into Su Jinyan's arms, seeking refuge.
Walking corpse? Even as a ghost, I won't let any of you three off!
Sparkle felt deeply wronged.
How infuriating! She strongly suspected that Su Jinyan had deliberately invited these people just to torment her.
The coffin continued its procession forward.
Qingque stepped forward, "Hey, let me say something fair here."
"Even though this is a joyous funeral, isn't it terribly disrespectful to the deceased?"
Sushang and Guinaifen lowered their heads shamefully.
While they were speaking, the coffin had already moved away from Qingque's vicinity.
Qingque urgently called out, "Stelle, please make your cousin lie down, I'm begging you."
"After all, she's A-Yan's cousin too."
"We must show her the respect she deserves."
Stelle raised her thumb, contentedly retrieving her bat with a reassuring expression, seemingly saying, "Leave it to me, no worries."
Qingque stared, puzzled.
As the coffin reached Stelle, she swung a powerful home run swing.
Whack!
Sparkle saw stars after being struck by the bat.
"Wah, even if I die, I won't spare any of you four!"
Stelle couldn't help but gasp, "This girl is terrifyingly strong, possibly not inferior to myself."
"My 'Restful Home Run' can even subdue a Doomsday Beast, yet it fails to make her rest?"
Whack!
Stelle swung the bat again.
Still, Sparkle did not fall, although desperately wishing she could.
But she remained upright.
Whack!
Unwilling to relent, Stelle took another swing.
Sparkle, utterly speechless, silently pleaded:
Please, just let me die peacefully.
Please, just let me die.
The coffin moved further away on the conveyor belt, gradually distancing itself from Stelle.
"Miss Tingyun," Stelle pleaded anxiously, "I've done my best."
"Leave it to you for ensuring our cousin's rest! Make sure she finds peace!"
From nearby, Tingyun softly replied, "Yes, please leave it to me."
Judging by the voice, it must be that gentle foxfolk young lady, right?
Foxfolk are quick-witted; surely they wouldn't commit such amateur mistakes as before?
Sparkle silently prayed that Tingyun would be more reliable and not torment her like the others did.
Tingyun closed her folding fan and gently nudged Sparkle, trying to coax her back into the coffin. She repeated this attempt several times, but without success.
Gradually, Tingyun began losing patience.
Fu Xuan expressed his slight disappointment, "Tingyun, is that all your strength?"
"Haven't you eaten? Let this venerable one handle it instead."
With a cold demeanor, Tingyun picked up a large stone from the ground.
"Our benefactor is still watching over us," she murmured. "We... cannot afford to embarrass him..."
A sudden chill inexplicably washed over Sparkle.
"Rest in peace, dear cousin!"
Tingyun lifted the heavy stone and forcefully smashed it down on Sparkle.
Crash—
Shards of stone flew everywhere.
Sparkle was completely driven into the coffin by Tingyun's blow.
However, a small piece of rock also lodged firmly within the casket.
Wailing internally, Sparkle vowed, Even as a ghost, I won't spare any of you five!
Su Jinyan's eyelid twitched slightly; it seemed he should treat Tingyun better from now on—hopefully she wouldn't resort to domestic violence, right?
Sparkle's coffin moved further and further away along the conveyor belt.
Several guests witnessed this spectacle, pointing and murmuring in amazement.
Jing Yuan's expression turned solemn. "Yanqing, did you see that?"
Yanqing nodded. "Yes, General. A stone was placed upon the coffin."
In a grave tone, Jing Yuan remarked, "It appears this is the mourning custom of Minister Su's cousin's homeland."
Yanqing's determination flared up. "We can't be outdone either, General."
Exchanging glances, Jing Yuan and Yanqing selected an exceptionally massive boulder from the open space nearby and strained to lift it with great effort.
Sparkle remained silent, pleading internally:
Please spare me, won't you? I swear, I'll never come back to the Xianzhou Luofu again.
I'm gonna die, oh god, I'm gonna die~
If that colossal rock lands on me, there's no way I'll survive.
"Come on, Yanqing, give it your all!" urged Jing Yuan.
"I already am, General!" responded Yanqing.
"Keep pushing!"
"You too!"
Due to the conveyor belt's excessive speed, by the time Jing Yuan and Yanqing managed to place the massive stone onto it, the coffin had already drifted far away.
"Uh-oh, Yanqing, the coffin has gotten too distant," Jing Yuan exclaimed.
"General, let's just lift this stone and hurl it towards the coffin," suggested Yanqing.
Sparkle felt utterly terrified.
"No! Sparkle will turn into 'Sparkle paste'!"
Jingliu spoke coldly, "Jing Yuan, Yanqing, what exactly are you doing?"
"Why are you holding such a large stone?"
"What intentions do you have towards Xiao Didi's deceased cousin?"
Panic flashed across Jing Yuan's face. "M-Master..."
Yanqing stammered, "Big Sister, we were trying to..."
Sparkle sighed with relief. Thank goodness, finally someone can rein these two in.
Jingliu stepped between them and joined in lifting the colossal stone. "Why didn't you inform me about something so crucial? I also wish to contribute my humble efforts for Xiao Didi's cousin."
"Master," said Jing Yuan.
"Big Sister," echoed Yanqing.
Together, Jingliu declared, "Let us three, master and disciples, work as one."
Sparkle watched silently.
There's no hope; Luofu is truly beyond saving.
With their combined efforts, the trio lifted the enormous boulder high and swiftly approached the coffin.
Unexpectedly, as they traversed a downhill slope, Yanqing stumbled due to a momentary misstep, causing his grip to weaken instantly.
The massive rock thundered past Yanqing, rapidly rolling down the incline.
Yanqing's expression shifted with alarm. "No, it's a downhill slope! The rock will keep tumbling!"
Sparkle's tense nerves finally relaxed once more.
Perfect—now I won't be crushed into Sparkle paste after all.
All this chaos can be blamed on that God of Entertainment. When exactly will he wake up?
Just then, another unexpected turn occurred.
As the boulder rolled halfway down the slope, Dan Heng suddenly emerged, gritting his teeth as he intercepted the continuously tumbling rock.
Sparks flew from beneath his feet, leaving a long skid mark behind.
"Although I cannot see you because of the rock," Dan Heng said, "I understand your intentions now, Jing Yuan."
Jing Yuan let out a long breath. "Although obscured by these rocks, I cannot see you."
"But from here on, I entrust everything to you—Dan Heng."
Sparkle meowed bewilderedly.
Weren't the High-Cloud Quintet at odds with each other? Why were they setting aside their differences and reconciling now? Surely not just to eliminate one frail woman together, right?
Waaahh, my heart is about to break...
The coffin continued moving further away on the conveyor belt.
Straining his muscles, Dan Heng pushed the massive boulder, attempting to catch up with the distant coffin. Along the way, people continually cheered him on.
Seemingly bolstered by their encouragement, Dan Heng raised the giant boulder high and hurled it towards the coffin.
Involuntarily, Sparkle recalled fragments of her past experiences as scenes flashed through her mind like a carousel lantern.
Just as the falling boulder was about to crush the coffin into dust—
At that precise moment, Sushang brought two fingers together, her eyes sparkling brilliantly. "A sword's reach can cleave the clouds."
Under the astonished gazes of everyone present, an enormous Xuanyuan Sword, inscribed with mystic runes, burst forth, shattering the boulder with a thunderous impact.
Yanqing's eyes widened in awe. "General, Yanqing wants to learn this!"
Jing Yuan remained silent, speechless.
***
After shattering the massive stone, the Xuanyuan Sword's momentum remained undiminished as it continued towards Sparkle within the coffin.
In this critical moment,
Su Jinyan instantly appeared before Sparkle, embraced her delicate frame, and swiftly moved them both to safety.
"Naughty girl, do you acknowledge your mistake?" Su Jinyan's eyes held a hint of amusement, silently conveying that if she feigned death again, he wouldn't hold back his retribution.
"Eh?" Sparkle's lashes fluttered slightly as she blinked her beautiful eyes, concealing a sly glint beneath their depths.
"My head hurts so much. Big Brother, may I ask who you are...?"
Did getting hit with the bat actually cause amnesia for this troublemaker?
Su Jinyan cleared his throat softly, "Actually, I'm your father."
Sparkle's lovely eyes seemed bewildered. "Father?"
Su Jinyan nodded affirmatively. "Yes."
As Jingliu and Fu Xuan approached closer, Sparkle's lips curved upwards slightly. "Then who is my mother? Is it the short, flat-chested pink-haired aunt over there?"
Fu Xuan stared, taken aback.
Fearfully, Sparkle shrank into Su Jinyan's embrace. "Daddy, I'm scared."
"She's glaring at me, Daddy."
"With such fierceness, she can't possibly be my mother."
Su Jinyan calmly replied, "Do you believe I could conjure up a dollop of poop right onto your face?"
Instantly, Sparkle apologized, "Sorry, Little Su, I was wrong. Please forgive my offense."
