Chapter 24 - Ch 24

Approximately 1 Year until asteroid collision with earth.

Taylor was with Albion finally nearing the end to the etching process.

Although the time it takes to etch a concept into the very existence of a life form is random depending on multiple reasons, You can still make a decently educated guess, based on species, lifespan, their soul and how high the concept that is being etched is, to name a few.

The etching also needed to encompass everything that the being is.

And considering that it is Taylor's first time etching a concept he need to take longer in order to avoid many possible mistakes fortunately, mystery tends to work in mysterious ways and helped him a fair bit.

As Taylor made the last etch mark needed on Albions lifespan which if asked Taylor would confirm to be really fucking difficult to do considering that lifespan is not a physical thing you can interact with physically or see, at least he could see the soul.

After finishing all the etching marks they began to illuminate.

Then after about 30 minutes they faded until they could no longer be seen, after which Taylor undid the sealing spell he put on Albion's consciousness.

Taylor did this after first attempting to begin the etching, because when he first attempted it Albion began to scream out in agony, so Albion's consciousness has been sealed ever since separated from feeling any form of pain.

After undoing the spell Taylor waited for Albion to wake up.

After a couple of minutes Albion's eyelids began to flicker a bit, then they opened wide.

" Welcome back to the waking world Albion, how has your nap been?" Taylor asked With a smile on his face.

" Well I am feeling very… lethargic." Albion replied but then Albion began to yell out in pain.

" RAWWWWWWWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRRRR" After a short 30 seconds Albion's yelling subsided.

" Why do I still feel so much pain!?" Albion asked with some slight agony in their voice.

" Well that'll be some phantom pains, or an echo of the pain your body experienced." Taylor continued, " But you Will need to worry the pain should be gone after about a day."

" However you shouldn't use any of those abilities you've just gained for probably a few months after all your fundamental existence needs to adapt to having a concept become a part of it."

Albion although still looking slightly pained nodded in agreement.

" Very well, by the way How long has it been from start to finish?" Albion inquired.

" *cough* well… it's been about… uh… 27,000 years." Said Taylor.

" So that asteroid is almost here?" Asked Albion.

" Yea, it is a little bit less than a year away." Said Taylor.

" Then answer me this, what would you have done if the asteroid impacted and you still hadn't finished?" Albion asked with some strain in their tone from both their pain and their annoyance.

" well, I could've carried you off the plant, I could've teleported you away from the Planet, could've put us into a sub space. And a variety of other things I could've done." Replied Taylor.

Though Taylor really only started coming up with these ideas when he realised how close the astroid impact is.

Regardless a couple of days after Albion woke up they stretched their body and felt Relieved of pain.

Taylor then talked to Albion about him going to meet Akasha and complete the trial to remove the shackles.

" Do you know what the trial will be Taylor?"

" No… I don't."

" Do you know how long it will take?"

"… No, I don't."

" For goodness sake, Do you even know if you live if you fail?"

" *Sigh* No."

" Then why would you do this?"

" Because, when a part of yourself has been, in a way, locked away from you you feel that every single second of your life." Taylor began explaining in detail, what that felt like for him.

As Albion listened to Taylor's rant, they truly understood that this human, their longest friend, while appearing happy and peaceful, For the last few billion years he has been constantly feeling the pain of separation from a part of himself and the only reason he hasn't fallen into despair is due to the hope of having it returned to him.

As Taylor continued to rant his voice would oftentimes break, but he eventually finished, looking fairly haggard but with a massive weight feeling now lifted off his shoulders.

" Thank you… Albion… for… listening to… my venting." Said Taylor with a final breath out.

" It's fine, if anything I am glad to have witnessed this part of you." Albion continued, "I feel like I now know you better now that ever before."

Taylor and Albion decided to spend the next month together having some good fun.

Afterwards Taylor went to the space station and began to talk to all his wives about the trial and much the same conversation happened with his wives as he had with Albion.

And although the girls understood why Taylor needed to do this, they still decided that they need to spend the next 2 months together.

With so many wives Taylor eather had to keep every date shot or go on one date with many of them.

Fortunately for him, many of them enjoyed going on a date with him Alongside their sisters.

However while on his date with 1O they where exploring signs of life that were reported on the planet the the 'item' would come from.

And upon arrival they noted just how arid the planet has become compared to when last recorded.

And although there was a fair amount of rivers only the deeper rivers have been showing the life signs.

While 1O was collecting some biological material Taylor was looking at a plant that was newly sprouted.

While looking at it Taylor had only one thought.

' It's almost like a dandelion.'

Not so much, in it's coloration or shape but in the feel of it's stem and the way it's petal seeds attach to them.

Soon after returning Taylor finished all his dates and proceeded to his room.

Taylor sat at his desk to contemplate in silence for a while.

While in thought, Firefly suddenly entered.

" Taylor, I'm not letting you go alone." She stated with no room in her tone for negotiation.

" Yes I will be Firefly." Taylor replied in a calm yet firm tone.

" No, this only happened because you wanted to do something good for me." She continued. " I know I can't do it on your behalf as much as I may want to, but I should at least be able to support you there."

"Exactly, 'because I wanted to do something good for you' not because you originally wanted it nor because it was necessary the right thing to do, But because I wanted to do something, I believed to be good." Taylor continued. " All my own actions, therefore the responsibility for those actions lays with me with me."

Although Firefly disagreed after they talked for a while she chose to respect his decision but made sure that the next time he has to leave this universe she accompanys him.

Taylor agreed with her demand and then she left the room.

Taylor moved to stand in the centre to a magic circle he had drawn.

The use of this magic circle was to allow him entry into Akasha's domain, it's also a magic circle that only those who are given true magic by Akasha are able to learn.

And even if someone tries to use the magical circle he drew and used the correct chant, without them already having a connection to the root of Akasha then it will not work.

Taylor closed his eyes then recited the chant.

" By the true magical gift that has been given to me, I request safe passage into the realm where true magic resides."

After after a moment Taylor felt himself getting gently pulled into a different realm.

After waiting a moment he opened his eyes and saw what could only be described as an magically ethereal place.

The same place he arrived once before, but could only now could he see what it really looked like.

Then he saw her one of Akasha's creations and her title appeared in his mind the Goddess of Çatalhöyük, she had very long platinum hair, with eyes that would feel as deep as the ocean when looking into them, her breasts Took the term ' bigger breasts equals more breastmilk' very literally, and her hips could really only be described as childbearing. However despite this, it didn't feel like her body was disproportioned primarily due to the fact that she was easily over 8 feet tall.

And although she was very much naked, you just couldn't get the feeling of being sexually attracted to her certainly not for lack of looks, but just the feeling she gave off.

(A.N: she will be the only goddess made by Akasha directly.)

Taylor looked up and then gave a courteous nod of the head toward her, " pleasure to meet you."

She gave a warm smile back and replied, " a pleasant pleasure to meet you as well my child." But there was also a glint in her eye that looked at him as if he was a child who has misbehaved.

Then he realised in thanks to his connection with Akasha that the Goddess of Çatalhöyük was made to be the origin of the Earth Mother Goddess Authority by Akasha.

Unfortunately, his connection to Akasha was not deep enough to learn how the authorities would be gained by the other goddesses in the future.

" Am I right in assuming that you will be sending me to my trial?" Taylor asked.

" Yes I will be dear child." The Goddess of Çatalhöyük continued, " since you created a fate that originally should not of existed, you must change the fate of some of importance to the world you will be sent to."

Taylor thought on what Goddess of Çatalhöyük had said then realise something.

" Wouldn't it make more sense that my trial be to end a fate before it could begin considering I created one that originally shouldn't have existed." Taylor asked.

" Maybe if you accept your trial right after you receive the shackles because I wouldn't have been aware of such a crime having been committed, but when I learned of it I made sure that ending a fate before it began would never be allowed for the trial." The Goddess of Çatalhöyük continued, " and although I'm not as powerful as Akasha they were also willing to listen to me considering that I have the emotions and understanding of a parent that they have lost.

Taylor understood and was quite happy to hear that, after all, it's not like he would actually want to destroy fate before it's begun, at least trying to change one is a fair bit more humane.

" Well I'm ready to begin my trial." Taylor said.

" That good, after all children should make amends when they do something wrong, even if it was for the right reasons." The Goddess of Çatalhöyük replied.

" So you will be sent to a world that has no Mystery/Eather so many of your abilities will be getting sealed, so you don't destroy the world just by being present, you can use the Mystery/Eather in your body however only in very small amounts, and remember you won't be able to regenerate the Mystery/Eather in your body while you are there."

" You can only take one physical item with you."

" And in consideration that you need to change the fate of someone of importance you will get sent to a world with a story a you know."

All you need to do is choose a Number between 1 and 5 to decide which point in time during the story you will be sent to." The Goddess of Çatalhöyük finished.

" Would you be so kind to give me a clue as to what World I'll be going to?" Taylor asked with a little hope.

"No." She replied.

"Ok then i'll choose number…"
